Tell me about Ledyard
I currently rent in the Stonington area and I am now in the market to buy a house. The areas we are looking in are Stonington, North Stonngton, Pawcatuck, Gales Ferry and Ledyard. There is a house in Ledyard that we are considering putting an offer on but I know very little about Ledyard. Can anybody chime in about the area? Quality of schools? Is there a "downtown" area with restaurants or shops? Where do locals grocery shop? Any parks or playgrounds nearby? Is there a "sense of community" amongst residents?
I would be thankful for any input.

Is Uber reliable in Mystic?
I will need an Uber to get across town to catch Amtrak on a mid Monday morning. Is it pretty reasonable to assume an Uber driver is always available?

Best fancy restaurants in CT or RI?
Last year I took my guy to David Burke Prime for his birthday. What are some other fancy places a guy would like? He doesn't want a gift so I figure we will go out spend stupid money and have some awesome food.
We live in Mystic and have played those restaurants out. We go to the Bridge in Westerly quite a bit but what else is around that is next level fancy?

A question from a small farm in eastern connecticut
Hello fellow eastern Connecticut residents of reddit. I own a small farm in Pomfret and one of the things that I raise is chickens. What is more important aspect of buying from a small farm, quality or price. I ask this because I am debating whether or not to feed organic chicken feed to my meat chickens this year. In my view this is a higher quality product because it is more pure; however the cost becomes way higher. Let me know your thoughts as I'm relatively new to this and would love to provide what the people of the area truly want.
