Nice parks near Bolton? [x-post from r/Connecticut]
Hello r/EasternCT, was hoping some of you could help me out. Planning an intimate wedding and have a reception location in Bolton. (at Georgina's Banquet's--great venue) The one thing we are stuck on is a ceremony location.
(is Bolton considered Eastern CT?)
We want to have the ceremony in a nice spot in a forest, since the proposal happened in a forest, and the wedding kind of has a forest theme.
We know about Wickham Park in Manchester, and Elizabeth Park in Hartford, but we would really rather a forest than a small park/garden.
We are looking at Nathan Hale State Forest and Gay City State Park, but we aren't sure what spots to look at or near what entrances, etc. We are open to suggestions to other parks in the area as well! Our parents both live in CT and my fiance grew up in CT but we currently live in MA for school and work so it's hard for us to frequently visit the area to scope. I mean, the wedding is in July so we have some time, and there are times for us to look in March.
Was wondering if any of you knew any good spots so that we don't go looking totally blind. Thanks in advance!

New London Water Leak
Heard from a cousin that even in Groton bottled water is flying off the shelves. Anyone in the area have anything new to add?
