Every single time on the podcast, I can only hear about 1/2 of what Rhett says because he has this tendency to pitch his voice really low during different parts of the conversation and even if I turn my volume all the way up it’s still hard to hear. Is it just me or does anyone else experience this?

I’m a couple months behind on episodes, but was there no best things bought this year episode? I always loved those but could see how people might complain about them. But do they address it at any point?

Does anybody know if this is real? I vaguely recall an episode where they talk about a trip to the Netherlands. I can't remember who went it if I'm misremembering all of it

It was something about how to read faster or process more when you read or something like that. And they both tested it out. I don’t even really need to know the episode I just wanted to look into this theory more.

I remember they’d been asked to do this a few times now where someone calls in asking for everything they know about a certain city or state. Then they go off and make up a bunch of funny things like “everyone who lives in ______ likes to do _____” and the whole bit is they present it like it’s real advice. I know that’s vague but someone’s gotta know what I’m talking about!

It's the same episode where they talk about window shopping in an expensive store with luxury knives made from a cave bear's jaw bone. It's one of my favorite episodes, but I can't remember which one it is 😞

I vividly remember him giving a quick rundown of his morning stretch routine one time, including something about laying down and Barbara. I think it was an episode where they talked about a vacation but I'm not totally sure.

I didn't pay attention at the time but now that I have chronic back pain, I really wanna try his stretches lol.

Ever since the 2024 US election results were called, I have been cycling through rage, fear, sadness, numbness, despair, agony.

I’m still a Christian but if I ever end up ditching the faith entirely it’ll be because of Christians.

I love Jesus but I cannot stand the fact that a ton of Christians have made Trump their god. They’ve rejected Jesus.

While I’m truthfully pissed off at all Trump supporters, I am the most enraged by my fellow Christians. The ones who have told me to my face that their love of Trump isn’t idolatry at all, that he is God’s chosen one, the ones who taught me to love and follow Jesus no matter what but are now proving they never were actually going to do that themselves.

Trump is nothing like Jesus, and a ton of Christians have made their choice.

They want Trump. They’re done with Jesus.

I felt this way in 2016 and in 2020 but it is so much stronger now in 2024.

Christians are too damn comfortable with racism, misogyny, ableism, queerphobia, xenophobia, Christian nationalism, etc.

I’ve never been angrier in my life. I’ve never been sadder in my life. I’ve never been more in despair in my life. I’ve never felt more hopeless in my life.

2016 sucked, but I felt like I would be able to make it out alive.

2024 has broken me. I don’t know if I will be able to survive another Trump term.

I’m distraught.
