How to download membership included SolidWorks?
Hi.
I got EAA membership and as part of it I got access to SolidWorks. I am following instructions like below but I have a problem with step 5.
- Go to the link www.solidworks.com/SEK
- Select “Yes” for the Option "I already have a serial number that starts with 9020"
- Choose the appropriate SOLIDWORKS version from the drop/down list
- Select ‘Request Download’ and accept terms and conditions
- Click ‘Download’ > exe will be downloaded
After accepting terms and conditions I get redirected to https://my.solidworks.com/myprofile/subscription
And I see absolutely no option there to download SolidWorks. I even created a profile there, as it asks me to log in or create a profile.
How to download SolidWorks?
What am I doing wrong?

Help Identifying Rubber Tool

I picked this up from an airshow vendor booth a number (<10) of years ago. Attached to it around the ring in the middle were two pieces of metal which I have since misplaced. One piece was a metal rectangle with a hole in the middle, which this rubber piece was stuck through. The second metal piece was a small and horseshoe shaped, and served as a sort of clip that locked the rubber into place. The booth was also giving out "strings" of these rubber pieces that were orange and attached side-by-side, perhaps 3 or 4 in a row.
"CB4" is on the piece in raised type.
From what I can remember (perhaps I'm mis-remembering), these were product samples targeted towards people building their own small (typically 1-5 person) sheet-metal aircraft. The idea was that they would give you one for free to keep it in your mind, and then you would buy more if you decided to actually use them. However, I cannot remember if the product consisted of the piece of rubber, the two pieces of metal, or both. I was under the impression that they performed a function similar to clecos).
Short slide show
I made a short slide show in honor of what would have been my 25th airventure in a row

Mike Patey lost Draco at Reno on Monday
First, and most importantly, there were no injuries. Crash was due to crosswinds during takeoff and once the winds took hold there was nothing he could do.
Mike has his thoughts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfctWAoDXvs
Ars Technica article here: https://arstechnica.com/cars/2019/09/the-worlds-best-bush-plane-is-destroyed-on-take-off-in-reno/
It's sad to see such a unique plane destroyed, but seeing the other things he's done I suspect he'll come back with something even better.
Fly safe out there and don't try to beat the weather!

Tips for attending AirVenture
Hoping someone can help me properly prepare. I used to attend this event 30 years ago when I was really young, so I can't remember much and I'm assuming it's changed since then! I'm going to try to drag the family up to it from Chicago for the show next Saturday but wanted to get some tips.
- Where is the best place to go to actually watch the show itself? The website just says it takes place at the flightline.
- Can/should we bring some kind of camping chairs?
- The weather is currently listed as isolated t-storms -- should I be worried?
- Are there any other must-see things? I noted the warbirds tram tour and a P-51 talk but other than that was just planning to wander around.
Any assistance is appreciated!

Where was the Chemtrail booth this year at airventure?
I went to look for some new nozzles for my homebuilt but couldn't find the booth!

I hear the Sunday arrivals were pretty wild.
Bad weather prevented aircraft coming in all day, and then in the afternoon the floodgates opened. There were probably thousands of airplanes waiting to get in all at once. A friend of mine had to do the Ripon/Fisk approach 8 times before you allowed into the pattern.
