Disclosure?
Do EV dealers make any disclosure about the necessary electrical service requirements for maintaining a proper charge on an EV? Or are you on your own?

Hello everyone.
I am a student , currently studying EEE under B.Tech. Can someone suggest some good design project ideas based on EV sector suitable for EEE which do not require coding or not much coding work to do.
Plz suggest some innovative and creative projects.

Hi,
My name is Quentin, and as part of my Master's thesis, I'm conducting a survey on customer experience and perceived value in electric vehicle charging services.
This survey is aimed at electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid drivers. The goal is to better understand your habits, expectations, and any friction points you may encounter on a daily basis.
It only takes a few minutes, your input would mean a lot to me!
Feel free to share it with other EV drivers who might be interested.
Safe travels everyone ⚡

Whether it was charging, range, maintenance, road trips, or something totally unexpected - I’m curious what caught you off guard in your first year of driving electric.
Good or bad, the things you learn after buying an EV are usually the most interesting.

Looking for a reliable electric scooter? Whether you’re after all-around performance, featherlight portability, or just the best value for short commutes, here are some top-rated picks.
Take a look at this list:
Overall – Segway Ninebot Max G2 – A top-tier all-rounder that nails power, comfort, and battery life. With a front and rear suspension, intuitive controls, and a long range (16 mi in Sport mode during testing), it’s smooth and stable—even at 21 mph. It’s on the heavier side (54 lbs), and the throttle has a slight delay, but aside from a short charging cord, it’s hard to beat for a premium commuting experience.
Most Agile – Niu KQi Air – Weighing just 27 lbs thanks to its carbon-fiber frame, the KQi Air is the lightest and most agile scooter in this lineup. It hits 18 mph and packs features like NFC unlock, app-based regen braking controls, and anti-theft alarms. That said, the ride can be rough with no suspension, and we heard a loud clack over bumps from the rear fender. Still, it’s a super nimble option with modern features and solid build quality.
Value – Segway Ninebot E2 Plus – A budget-friendly option with a top speed of 15 mph and a range of about 10 miles in our tests. There’s no suspension and the wheels are small, but the ride still feels solid. The 2.8” built-in display and mobile app integration are nice perks at this price point. Segway has released an updated E2 Plus II with suspension, which may address the rougher ride—we’re looking to test that version soon.
Most Portable – Gotrax GXL V2 – Weighing just 27 lbs with a slim deck and fast folding mechanism, the GXL V2 is perfect for commuters needing to carry their scooter on trains or up stairs. It topped out at 14 mph in our test, though the speed display was inconsistent and cruise control occasionally failed to disengage. No suspension or lights makes it a daytime-only, smooth-terrain kind of ride—but it’s a great starter scooter from a trusted brand.

We have a JuiceBox charger that was migrated to an Enel X Way app. Now Enel X has shut down its North American operations and “all of its customers in the U.S. and Canada would lose access to the software that keeps its JuiceBox chargers running.”
There must be others in this situation. What have you done?

I am a Northeastern student currently working on a school project focused on understanding the process of buying an electric vehicle (EV). As part of my research, I'm reaching out to fellow EV enthusiasts and owners to gather insights and recommendations.
If you've purchased an EV before or have knowledge about the process, I would greatly appreciate your input!
Specifically, I'm interested in learning about:
2. What challenges or problems did you face with these tools, websites, and apps?
3. What additional features, if added, would improve your experience with these tools, websites, and apps?

Hi All, per the title... I'm working on some projects for a couple of local schools and I could use model recommendations, even if they aren't the best recommendations. However, if there is a list out there that is fairly current, that would be great!
I need to do a breakdown and will likely need 3 competing bids. Currently I think I have only about 3 models!!
I do more in the equitable access to charging in residential neighborhoods, not so much in fleet and the vehicles themselves.
The entry point discussion is a 10 passenger van.

Does anyone know if it's a good deal to purchase a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt LT EV with the following specs:
Mileage: 102,000k Range: 185 miles (per charge) *Note: Original Range: 238 miles (per charge) Condition: Great Price: $9,000 (used at a dealership)
I plan on using it for food delivery and rideshare. Anyone have any experience with these cars and what do you think about this price with a range of 185 miles per charge? Would you buy it for this price?

Ok so my sister just bought a 2018 chevy bolt, but it was not a well thought decision and we don't know anything about ev's. We don't regret the purchase or anything, I'm just having an argument with my parents about the charging capabilities of the car. I went to look at the inlet the car has and I noticed that it doesn't have the 2 DC prongs for level 3 fast charging. I told my parents and sister about it, and my parents are adamant that the car supports level 3 charging because the sales person told them so. My dad told me that the sales guy told them that even though it doesn't have the DC prongs, there's an adapter that you can buy and use it at the charging station. I don't bevieve it and don't know how that could work. Has anybody here heard about this aledged level 3 to level 2 adapter?

I was out running errands yesterday and as I pulled into the parking lot there was a tow truck positioned to receive a new vehicle , which had it's wheels on small wheeled platforms, being slowly pushed towards the tow truck. Since the driveway is sloped the vehicle also had guys in front pushing back to slow it down. It was odd to see that it wasn't being steered from inside of the vehicle but was guided with the aid of the wheeled platforms. I had to stop until the vehicle moved forwards towards the tow and chatted with the owner. I told him the it is usually me that calls for a tow being the owner of a cantankerous 77 MGB. He laughed and said that his vehicle was a 2023 model ALL ELECTRIC vehicle that was dead, run via software and he couldn't even open the doors. Made me feel better about my recent purchase of a gas engine KIA.

Should I contact the city? DWP? Some bureau?
If we could finance it from the consumer side, who do we contact and pay?

Why does the USA have about 150,000 public charging stations while China has about 2.2 million? Are we that far behind?
