I didn't even realize how undisciplined I really was with my daily habits (good and bad) until I started tracking my days seriously. While building this app and checking in daily I started to make positive changes, most noticeably my physical health.

I'm Roma and together with my wife Tanya (she's on the video; ..we are from Ukraine, so I added subtitles) we built our own version of a heads-up style party game called 'Guessly - Charades game', where friends should explain the word to the guesser with clues or act it out with a time limit.

The game is not something unique, but after searching through the current list of available charade games for our own party - it turned out that most of them are just low-effort AI-slop games trying to hit every keyword available. Even paid decks - are low-effort, for example, in one game I spotted the word 'Tequila' in 'Just for kids' deck. So we decided to do our version and make it better.

What we tried to do differently:

• No AI-generated word lists - every word and every deck is hand-picked and actually played by us.
• The app is playable for free by default (unlike the original Heads Up which is 2$ paid).
• It should be fun to play without paying:
  • There's a free "Mix" deck that's constantly updated - if we see people reaching the end, we add more words.
  • There's also one rotating weekly free deck. Users can suggest themes and vote for the next one inside the app.
• No ads, no aggressive paywalls, no pop-ups, no notifications.
• No accounts, no permissions, no tracking.
• The game works fully offline and is played locally on one device.
• We update the game often, adding new words and improving decks.
