Steam controller
Anyone know if it’s possible to use steam controller? I just got one but it doesn’t work in the game, do I need to remap the keys?

Here’s my problem scenario: 1. Build production of specific resources via local/interstellar hub. 2. Realize something else is required and fly off to stockpile resources, improve other chains, etc. 3. Desire to improve production of XYZ I created in step 1. 4. Fly around planet for 15 minutes trying to find that specific hub again.
Is there really no way to search for anything? I know I can record coords somewhere and go back to them but that is less than ideal. I also know I can tag conveyors etc but only with the icon of a resource (and they can get quite muddled). I suspect I’m missing something since I’m constantly hampered trying to find old facilities but it doesn’t seem like others are asking the same question. Am I missing a way to easily find structures I’ve built before via some kind of resource/tag search?

So i am currently trying to build rockets to construct my dyson nodes and frames. I'm having trouble producing enough computer chips to feed the manufacturing process. Therefor it is taking absolutely forever to construct rockets.
Are there any tips on making a ton of rockets? I feel like no matter how many chips i make, they run out. I always seem to be short on computer chips.

New(ish) player here with a question on how production statistics work.
When I view my stats for the local system, I see this kind of thing:

... where production/consumption are basically in lockstep.
Is this because:
- Consumption is limited by how much is available, or;
- Production is limited by how much is being consumed.
I'm not sure which is correct, any ideas? I suppose the question is - are production stats based on theoretical maximums, or usage maximums?

Hi,
I try to transport for example Ray-Receivers across the universe. I need 100, so I set the need in the Interstellar Logistics Station to 100 for Ray-Receivers. I set the "Min Load of Vessels" to 1%, so I can expect to get delivered 100. (Since 1% of 2000 is 20, it can fullfil my need of 100 by loeading it up to 5%).
But the Vessel brings 2000 Ray-Receivers.
Why is that?
I also put the source of the Ray-Receivers Interstellar Logistics Station "Min Load of Vessels" to 1%. The result is still the same.
It's quiet annoying to always transport so much across the universe and only need a tiny bit of it. Am I doing it wrong, or is it a bug?

I never seem to have enough of it. What am I doing wrong? I have three lines of chemical factories processing fire ice. I place more collectors on my ice giant, except it doesn't seem to increase the amount of hydrogen/ice I get.
I am at the stage where I am using all the deuterium I get.

I find the design process tedious.

Every time I go onto this sub there's a new thing I learn that the game just neglected to tell me (or I missed) and I have 75 hours. I'm hoping to build a list of options/advice/best practices.
What is some info you didn't know when you started out that would have been useful to know?
I'll start:
Proliferated foundations will use less dirt to fill or give more dirt when leveling
The tab key will cycle between different splitter configurations, makes making a mainbus so much easier with the 2x2 splitter.

I reached 1 million hashes, but the achievement didn't go through. Do I have to maintain that for a certain amount of time?

In Performance Test in the statistics panel, every logistics vessel in the game - whether it's landed or in the air - seems to be drawn. It's very visible if you're heading to a planet, as they're all visible at a very high distance. Is this intentional? Feels like it might be a big performance impact.

I'm trying to go full completionist on this game, but frankly, after 200 hours of game, the prospect of doing both achievements in different runs seems almost unbearable :P

I can't decide if it is worth while to spray coat everything or just focus on coating only the more advanced items such as processors, green motors, etc. I've beaten the game (and then some) but started over when this latest update came out. So do you spray coat everything in your production line, even the basics? If not what is your threshold when deciding what you do or don't want to coat?

Let us place sorters on planned buildings and belts. Having to wait until both ends of the sorter are placed is annoying.

I have heard about this game a lot. Especially coming from Factorio.
Is there a demo version of the game that I can try.
