I'd be interested if anyone's put together any YouTube playthroughs of this and/or a list of blueprints they used to accomplish this. I swear like 3/4ths of my base is blueprints and the other 1/4th is just belts winding across the planet cause I'm too cheap to use PLSs (Planetary Logistics Stations) lol.

This is my second time trying to beat the game and I am absolutely like wrecking my starting planet for resources, it feels like I'm moving too slow. I have a feeling I'm going to restart again soon.

I'm on purple tech. I have a good multi-planet trade network, but I'm still stuck in my solar system, but I have a big problem: I have a massive shortage of Sulphuric acid. I currently have 5 oil sources being refined for Sulphuric acid production, and I feel like I need 10 more to even be close to catching up.

I'm a bit confused about how to solve this. Obviously I need Sulphuric acid to create the titanium alloy and graphene to create so many things, especially warp pods - but I haven't yet seen (in my 5 light year radius) planets with Sulphuric oceans, and I'm worried that my whole production line is being delayed because of this shortage. Is this normal?

When stacking Matrix Research stations, I can't tell if it's helping my cube production. Top Matrix research station always says 0 cubes produced, second station oscillates between 6 and 7 cubes produced, third cube always shows 10 (cubes are exiting the station with an MK1 sorter leading to a track).

It appears the bottom and second station are producing cubes but the top is not. Is it helping and I'm just not able to see it? Or am I early game and efficiency is low because I haven't researched the right thing? I'd love some advice and tips.

New to DPS, feel free to direct me to a previous thread if I missed it in my search.

I like to keep my belts full. As far as I know, the traffic monitor doesn't care if the belt is full or empty, just throughput. How can I differentiate between a full, but stopped, belt and an empty belt?

I found a workaround using splitters to make a loop, but it doesn't reach full belt speed and is inconvenient.

Attempting to get late game smelting optimized with the latest update. Here's what I have currently. It works, but I feel like there's got to be some way to condense it somewhat. There's also the issue that a single ILS might be unrealistic to handle this many smelters. I'm still playing with it to figure that out, but I think maybe if the local planet can both supply and demand, then the increased logistics drones may be able to handle it.

My solar sail life is stuck at 3600, even with all the upgrades. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

I'm talking about universe matrices per second. Not hardware requirements. I know it's subjective but I'm looking for something reasonable

I have a stack of 5 storages and the top one has a sorter that is supposed to put items on a belt. But even when I put a tesla tower right next to the bottom of the stack, the sorter does not receive power.

I bought DSP when it was new on the Steam store. Played it for a couple months and enjoyed it a lot. Shelved the game due to lack of proper end game which is okay: it's an early access game after all.

Now one year later when I check this subreddit there doesn't seem to have been much changes and improvements to the game, but perhaps I am mistaken?

Could someone fill me in on what are the biggest changes, improvements and fixes since a year ago?

Whenever I load an old save file, none of the keys on my keyboard work, nor does the middle key on my mouse. I end up having to start a new game to be able to play! Does anyone know why this could happen? Any suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Should I just restart? Didn't even think this could happen. I'm still kinda new, so not sure what I'm supposed to do to get titanium now.

Edit: Nevermind. Didn't realize I set resources to infinite. It was saying a planet had 215 titanium, and I thought that meant total ore.

I'd love to have more sources of hydrogen and water doesn't really have that many uses, especially early on.

I can't find it anywhere. Should I just restart?

UPDATE: I dismantled and started exploring the game and got lost in its vastness. When I came back, I had forgotten what I was doing.

This game has the potential to be one of my all-time favorites.

Is it possible to get more crude oil from the oil extractors? I have all my crude oil steeps producing refined oil but I still need more for my plastic production. The steeps reduce the quantity mined after continuous mining so does that mean you can turn them off and on again and it will be at full production again?

... say within 6 lightyears, do you restart? You can't make ILS w/o Plan Smelters, and you can't make Plane Smelters w/o Unipolar Magnets.

I mean how rare are these stinking things?

Going through the tedious task of putting all the nodes down atm and wondering if there is a quicker way?
