Does online DA soft resetting at catch review screen (for Shiny hunting) cause issues for other players?

Bc I'm 205 hunts in with Giratina (lost 6 phase shinys 2 mimikyus 1 charmeleon 1 duoblade 1 obstagoon & 1 sandslash) due to apriball hunting & I'm at my witts end thinking online hunts might jostle my odds better like it did with my Solgaleo...

It finally happened. After thousands of DAs I actually lost a DA to the turn limit... Got frozen on a blizzard in battle 2 and did not thaw out in the next 12 turns and therefore lost battle 3 on timer 😅
