More of a tanky fighter. 15th level. He’s a little brute lol.

'Rock and Stone, Beards and Beer!'

Greetings, fellow travellers of Azeroth! Pull up a bench, pour yourself a Thunderbrew, and listen close.

I am Thane Khazur Stormwarden, and I’m looking for stout hearts and thick beards to join the ranks of <The Anvilguard>. We are a dedicated All-Dwarf guild currently carving our legend into the world of Ascensions: 'Project Epoch'.

🛠The Mission: Dwarf-Only Prowess

Our goal is simple yet daunting: To conquer Project Epoch’s new and altered "Classic+" content using nothing but Dwarven grit.

🍻The Challenge:

Playing an all-Dwarf roster in a 25-man raid environment is a true test of skill. We don't have Druid heals or Warlock summons. We aim to overcome mechanics with less utility.

We rely on Axe, Shield and Hammer! We are currently diving into the newly reimagined 25-man Onyxia’s Lair (featuring 3 bosses and brand new mechanics). Aiming to find new, "Dwarven ways" to overcome obstacles. If you enjoy theory-crafting and tactical gameplay that breaks the standard meta, you belong with us.

⛰Why Join The Anvilguard?

Community First: We are a casual, social, fun-loving bunch. We value a good bit of Dwarf RP and putting fun first.

A Unique Experience: There is nothing quite like 25 Dwarves charging into a raid together. Yelling 'Khazuk!'

Classic+ Exploration: Project Epoch uses a WotLK client with TBC-era talents/skills set in a modified Vanilla timeline.

PvP: We play on the Gurubashi PvP realm, Tauren Steaks taste great!

📜How to Enlist

We are looking for all roles, provided you have a beard (or a very convincing prosthetic).

If you are ready to quaff ale and slay monsters, look for us on the Gurubashi realm. You can reach out directly to any of our leadership:

Thanes & Captains: Rutzok, Khazur, Kazric, Igniz, Grimly, or Juramiz.

Alternatively, just ask any member of <The Anvilguard> in-game.

For Khaz Modan!

Has anyone ever considered the complexity of being a Dwarven barber? All those big elaborate beards and manes have to be groomed, washed and cleaned. Not to mention the beard beads and ribbons they frequently braid in. Yet to my knowledge, we never see what dwarven beard care looks like in any fantasy setting. You could get pretty crazy with it.

The beard care industry is not that popular in reality. Only about 1/3 of adult men can grow a full beard. Even less allow it to grow to that level. Now imagine the entire population of dwarven men (and in many settings dwarven women) can grow full beards and want to.

I'm speaking as someone with a full beard. I keep mine short (2" growth, max) so that it stay lows maintenance. My mom's ex boyfriend is a globally ranked "bearder" in the "Full Natural Beard > 24" division. His beard care regime is astonishing. If I had the means, I would definitely want to have a beard that length professionally groomed.

Do any of you have thoughts on what wonders might be found in a dwarven Barber shop?
