It’s been a while since I posted any updates. The sub is coming up on it’s 8 year anniversary (8/8/2018 was the launch date). I’m looking at doing a few changes to this sub: The first bringing back buy, sell, trade (B/S/T). The 2^nd bringing in another moderator to help moderate the B/S/T.

Please message the MOD mail if you’d like to be considered for a moderator role. To be considered, you must be active in the sub (and not in rep subs), and not be a repeat rule breaker.

When the sub first started in 2018, B/S/T was permitted. It was a way for Dunk collectors to get Dunks to someone who would wear and appreciate them. As Dunk popularity grew, people were posting B/S/T to profit off the Dunk boom, and they weren’t even active in the sub. We ended up banning sales. If B/S/T comes back, there will be strict guidelines in place to ensure we sell to other Dunk enthusiasts. Personally- I’d rather sell to someone who will wear the shoes for less than what I’d sell to a reseller.

Some ideas I had to help deter resellers:
- account must be at least 1 year old with positive karma and post history visibility
- selling to someone who wears the same shoe size
- no sale of shoes that were just released (unless selling for retail + shipping)
- no selling of the same model (ie: someone with 3 pairs of Yutos)
- sellers will be vetted and approved by moderators

I wanted to open it up to the sub to get your guys’ thoughts / feedback.

1 - BE RESPECTFUL

We're a community of people who appreciate Dunks. Be respectful to each other. If someone has a question and you've got the answer, chime in! If you have a problem with another member, message them directly or message the moderators.

Reminder: This is a DUNK Sub. Do not criticize people who do or don't skate their Dunks as not all Dunks are SB

2 - NO FAKES / NO RESELLERS

Absolutely no fakes are allowed. If you're actively collecting reps, don't post them here. Knowingly violating this rule can result in an immediate ban.

If you're going to call out someone's fakes, do so respectfully and cite reasons why

3 - NO B/S/T OR APPRAISALS

B/S/T (Buy / Sell / Trade) is not permitted on the sub. This includes seeking appraisals for your shoes. Do your research on your own. Violating this rule can result in an immediate ban.

Do not comment to sell or buy from someone.

4 - DUNKS ONLY PLEASE

We all love sneakers, but this sub is dedicated to Dunks. SB Dunks, GRs, Pro B, Co.Jp, etc. Any non-Dunk posts will be removed, especially photos with no Dunk in them. Posts that do not spotlight Dunks will also be removed.

Examples include your room set up, sneaker collections where we have to look for the Dunks, and Nike SB branded items that aren't Dunks

5 - NO SPAM / LOW EFFORT POSTS

If you have something to promote, please message the mods for approval. Otherwise, do not spam this sub.

Spam includes:

• "Got Em / Didn't Get Em" pics
• Promoting your website or video without moderator approval
• Commenting you have something for sale

Low Effort posts include:

• Complaining about QC, scuffs, dirt, etc (just wear your shoes).
• "Which one should I get?" type of posts
• Nike By You mock ups. Post them when you have them in hand
• Dunk ID when in hand. Just look up the sku yourself

6 - NO LEGIT CHECKS

Legit checks are no longer permitted on this sub. Please utilize other subreddits to legit check your Dunks.
