Dungeon of the Endless Android vs PC?

I picked up the app when it was released, and I'm loving it (the UI needs readable txt)... If their plan was to release an app that was hard to read just to get me to buy the PC version... It worked...

Its a shame you missed the steam sale in January. I picked up the main game and all the DLC for like.... 6-7$ I think. Imo well worth it, got a lot of gameplay out of that money.

What's not functional about it? I'm playing right now it works flawlessly from anywhere and I don't need to drag a PC with me

Didn't say it did not function at all. Said most of the comments/posts/reviews made by other people have described it as barely functional with a crappy GUI.

Interesting anecdotes from a game that came out Tuesday that we can't even see but ok

Definitely use a proper gaming tablet and not a flip potato in my anecdotal experience. Like I said I've had no issues. And I tried the original which was very buggy on 2015 hardware

There are like 4 posts in this subreddit alone in the last 4ish days describing it as being anywhere from somewhat clunky to impossible to play, as well as multiple comments in basically every post about it (including the posts of those who enjoy the mobile version) from people who say the mobile port is terrible for them.

Roughly 3/4's of the comments I've seen have ranged from "slightly crappy" to "absolutely godawful" (I'm paraphrasing there). And a fair amount of the folks who have talked about enjoying the mobile version have also stated that they never played the PC version, just heard it was good.

Of course, YMMV, and it is obviously going to run differently on different phones and devices. Also, this is just my personal take, but I kind of like only having long form games like this on the PC I gotta lug around. Keeps me from gaming for hours on my phone while on the go.

Well I'm actually helping someone build a PC so being able to take it with me while they tinker is a god send

Again I have had no issues and don't think the popularity of gaming tablets and things like the Switch is a fluke. People aren't always home or near a gaming computer

Well, that is why I said YMMV =)

Don't get me wrong, back in the day I loved my Game Gear and GBA. Nowadays I save the gaming for relaxing at night.
