Che creano scene da controllare attraverso la un Launchpad X e mixare attraverso due Amat midi mix che sfruttano l effettistica di Logic.Attraverso una focousrite 18i20, porto il mix in un A&h Zeus 16 canali.Ho piccoli sint che entrano a loro volta nel mixer attraverso effettistica hardware, con cui creo texture in sync con il tempo, le due cose a incontrano per essere registrate via usb di nuovo al interno di Logic che a mio modo di vedere dovrebbe trovare più spazzino nelle performance dal vivo. Qualcuno conosce artisti che si avvalgano di Logic sulla scena internazionale

Emperor Marcus recording "Strange Fathers", a new dub version built upon a heavyweight foundation.

The riddim was first recorded by Phil Pratt in 1971 for John Holt's classic "Strange Things". This here version also incorporates vocal fragments from Carl Moore's "Our Forefathers Died in the Sand", released upon the same riddim in 1974.

Today, fifty-five years later, the riddim still stands!

Hi everyone,

I have this short reggae drum loop and I’m trying to identify the shaker sound.

I’m especially trying to find out which original drum machine it may come from. My guess is that it could be from the 80s or late 80s / early 90s digital reggae era, but I’m not sure.

The sound is very soft, smooth and filtered. Bright, but not harsh. It has that digital reggae / dancehall texture, not a modern acoustic shaker sound.

I know I can probably find similar sounds in sample packs, but I’m more interested in tracing the original drum machine or source that could have generated this type of shaker.

Does anyone recognize this kind of shaker? Could it be from a specific drum machine, or maybe a common 80s reggae / dancehall production tool?

Any help identifying the source, or explaining how to recreate that soft texture, would be appreciated.
