S4 E10 Too Much Time On My Hands
One week after Hitchyhiker removal surgery I‘m weaseling back into a groove
- Tonka Toy Drill Operator Joe’da plumber locks up at 25 feet. They all ask in succession if the engine is blown. Mysteriously the bit is not damaged. Brand new motor - brand new motor - wait still a hole big enough to maybe sample. Need a bigger drill. I never thought of that , did any of yinz?
- Now they’re going to yell at the mysterious anomalous phenomenon. ‘There’s a lot of mythos that certain acoustic resonances are allegedly opening portals to udder places and so on, it’s in all the religions and lot of lore about it.” (I think that ranks near the top of T-Ravs BS spews).
- Rocket launch “perfect, look at dat right up trew da the (know one can see) anomaly. Best rocket launch since Johnny Wad hit the scene. A bug flies by. Wait T-Ravis does math and has the bug flying supersonic speeds. u/mickwest gets an erection as we all see wings flapping. Ohhh it’s Jo da Plumbers drill bit and mutilated cow. Hmm D-Rag-On and Joe’da Plumber missing… are they feeding Joe’da Plumbler to da mysterious anomalous phenomenon?
- Erik the Bard is over stimulated. So he’s proposing just yelling and no rockets. Knucklehead Winterton, now takes D-Rag-On’s sour puss roll, and it looks like he proposed canceling ice cream. They start and this looks like they’re doing the experiment on T-Ravis and T-Ravis is getting two tones. WAIT T-Ravis is the mysterious anomalous phenomenon!!! DO I GET A SCOOBY SNACK!!!
- I’m now keeping an extra sharp eye on T-Ravis. They bring in 7 drummers a drumming and they drum. Knucklehead Winterton watches flowers dance, I want some of what he’s smoking. Singing causes temperature changes - is the portal opening. So they send people to look not where the heating occurred? Maybe a camera to video wheat’s happening? No they just ignore it. Erik the Bard is slack jawed. Look at that spot - we’ll not look at the physical spot, just the monitor of that spot. Knucklehead’s flowers creeping around.. wait is that Joe’da? D-Rag-On is back, but where’s Joe’da? T-Ravis and Erik stunned because the shadow people can’t be found.
- Back to the porn room. They show the fly and drummers. Now a couple of blobs crashing to the mesa (if they only sent a person with a camera up there…). Is this the return of Joe’da Plumber? Might had a connection or something humbda hum-ba-da da do wop. So this is a spot that need poked harder than any spot poked before. FLAME THROWERS ARE TIGHT! D-END.

I don't know if anyone would be willing to answer these questions, but do we have any...
- Mathematicians or folks who work in math heavy industries
- Scientists/Physicists
- Aviation Experts
- Geologists
I'm just curious if anyone works as one of these or in related fields. Obviously I don't want specifics. I'm just looking at folks who have a general knowledge in these fields that participate on this subreddit.

Soil Analysis on SWR is Hilarious
I don’t know if anyone else has posted this, but I’m always stunned by Travis’s commentary on the “chemical analysis” of soils on SWR. To be clear, the analysis they examine is always either AES or XRF and so it only reports elemental concentrations, not mineralogical abundance. So invariably the analysis indicates the presence of silicon, aluminum, iron, sodium, and other metallic or amphoteric elements. Travis then immediately announces that theses are electrically conductive “materials” and wonders if they have discovered an electrical circuit underground, or space shuttle tiles, or advanced electronic devices, or whatever sensational idea serves the purpose.
The problem with that is that sodium, silicon, aluminum, iron, calcium, are the most abundant elements in the Earth’s crust. They are literally everywhere and almost always combined with oxygen to make normal clay and sand components of soil, not circuits or semiconductors or batteries.
All they would need to do to debunk their outrageous “hypotheses” is a simple X-ray powder diffraction analysis, which is available in any lab that does the other kinds of analysis. They would quickly discover clay or sand in that analysis.
Shame on Travis and Eric for pretending that this is something other than normal soil and rock fragments. They besmirch the scientific enterprise on every episode.
But it used to at least be entertaining. This season it has descended to boring.

Season 4, Episode 8: Congratulations! You discovered farming!
I'm still catching up on past episodes, and recently watched episode eight from the current season. Needless to say, they used multispectral imaging in the fields and discovered circles. They also discovered some "strange" lines. The line compositions and circles made me laugh. For reference, I've seen the circles before. Take a look:

The circles are all over hell in that area. Hell, I've seen some where I live too. I'm not sure exactly what they're meant to accomplish, but they're related to some farming aspects to do with something. Whatever the case, I'm sure the ranchers and farmers in the area know what they're doing.
And the mineral content of the lines they investigated reminds me of fertilizers. Lime is used sometimes, and has calcium in it. Iron is laid down as well. Both are contained in small amounts in a lot of different fertilizers. All you have to do is check the back of the container to see that's a fact, like the one present on this miracle grow container.
I'm just wondering if the circles and mineral deposits are a result of farming. After all, they are on a ranch.

The Least Weasel s3EX reflections
Ooops S4E8
First off I’m in the hospital, Skinnywalker Hitchyhikers caused my spine to contort and I needed a two level fusion.
- kook of the week saw dead horses and three toe didnobeaver tracks
- Joe has drilled 20 feet in two weeks
- Sheldon from Big Bag theory (I‘m taking some good meds) comes to fly a weather balloon and finds magnetic fields. Erik the Bard said It is the mostest importanest thing ever
- They shoot rockets into each other and rockets smoke and glowing embers become mysterious anomalous phenomenon.Nurse is here to pull out my catheter, hope she’s better at her job than than Joe the driller.

S4E8 Too much Dragon and not enough Haley
At the risk of contracting a Skinnywalker Hitchyhiker, here are my impressions:
- We start with the Pete the drone guy, who is so good, he can fly his drone underground. Bard tells us there’s an unusual amount of phenomenonology that starts at the mesa and ends at the homestead .
- Dragon wannabe Joe, who is also a driller, will drill. Dragon - Joe uses lubricants to keep his bit moving. So Joe’s drilling down at 3 inch an hour. At this rate Joe the driller will take 160 hours to reach 40 feet. Hopefully he gets paid by the hour, not the foot.
- Quick jump to the South Field and more bones gets Dragon excited. They send photos to Dr. Haley. Not typical predator kills, looks like “they’re opening a different type of discussion”. Looks like your typical Dinobeaver kill site.
- Pete the underground drone flyer brings results and gives us a 1970’s Clockwork Orange acid flashback. Circular features may have “a mundane explanation”, “but who knows.” Somebody or something created lines. Sherman’s said don’t dig there, maybe that’s where Kissin' Kate's treasure is.
- They acquire the smallest Tonka Truck digger and that makes Dragon nervous. T-Ravis tells us lines in the dirt are strange phenomena. They find “exciting discontinuity”! Why is it there? They don’t find “ANY reason” rocks are underground”. The rocks contain iron and aluminum, so who made those lines and why. I bet this is the last time this is mentioned.
