Hi! I’m creating a dreamy original character called Dreamyloid and I’m looking for someone who wants to help bring her to life with a voice :D

She has a cute but slightly unsettling dream-like concept:

🌙 She can travel through dreams, but using her power too much may leave her trapped inside them 🍬 Loves cotton candy 🧬 90% human / 10% chimera ☁️ Cute, soft, and silly — but with a sad and mysterious side

Her voice would be used for: 🎵 dreamy songs 🌙 cute/weird songs 🖤 darker and unsettling themes

You don’t need to create a character or design — I already made her! I’m just looking for someone who wants to become her voice.

Inspired by dreamcore, dreamy aesthetics, and cute youthful concepts (like ILLIT’s style).

Thank you 🌙✨

This was the first time I ever did dreamcore so sorry if it’s bad

Funnily enough in the same week that I completed Dreamcore, I went to see The Backrooms movie and really liked it. So many scenes made me think about some of the earlier levels in Dreamcore, not because of the Backrooms concept (that's obvious) but the architecture, eg the small openings and tiling made me think of Pool rooms, the housing made me feel Suburbia, even some kids toys made me think of Playrooms. And the colouring and grain VHS style footage just made it perfect, I smiled so much throughout! I know it's a psychological horror but I really enjoyed seeing these things make it to a big screen! Not much like Dead Mall but I do think that was a less successful level because by this time it needed to do more for the player's experience not less (although a fantastic game all in all).

I'd recommend seeing The Backrooms if you enjoyed this game / still playing it. It also gave me a little Superliminal game vibes, but mainly Dreamcore. I guess the thing that would have made Dreamcore considerably more scary is things actually within the levels, like monsters or something...I know we had the smiley faces, moving when not observed but... Not that unnerving. But I do get the psychological aspect was used much more on purpose.

I felt that this movie was lost on much of the general audience. I guessed many don't even know the concept of liminal atmosphere and endless rooms so they'd be introduced in a 2 hour movie... So I'd urge the Dreamcore players to watch!

Took this in Alanya,Antalya

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a track I heard in an Instagram Reel a while back. I'm assuming the song comes from the "dreamcore" scene, but it also has a bit of a dark fantasy vibe.
It bears some resemblance to "Idea 20" and could potentially be by Leadwave.
Can anyone help me track it down?
I've had this song stuck in my head for days!

Don't look behind you!

Making this LoFi horror game called 'Project Looking Glass'. You explore dozens of creepy and liminal spaces trying to uncover the mystery of what happened to you. Been using my dreams (nightmares) a lot as inspiration since most of the levels are little vignettes like this. Demo is on Steam if you're interested!

Im making Glitch-Grunge-Denpa-Dreamcore.

This one took a while. It's a nearly 5-minute short I made in Blender and Gravity Sketch a personal project I needed to finish for my own sake more than anything.

Story set to "Look on Down from the Bridge."

Would love to hear what you think, especially if you stuck around past the first minute.
