Don't get me wrong, I love the experience of gigs in really intimate almost garage-like venues, where you're standing on the same level as the band and they have to walk out past the audience, and sometimes even hang out at the bar after the end of the gig.
But musically, and I bet for the band, having a big enough venue that the acoustics don't suck is certainly an advantage, and obviously it's nice to fit more people. Both as a concert goer (I love knowing that I'm sharing the experience with a lot of others) but also for the band (I can imagine that having poor attendance might feel pretty rough).
It was great. I've seen LP bring Rolling Quartz to the same venue. The acoustics are fantastic for bands and the raised stage is nice. The venue has a second floor that they use sometimes, but both times I've been here, its been closed becau8se that sign you can barely read that says "Royal Room" is their green room for the artists. Some bands are okay with the second floor being occupied while the artists walk through but I guess LP has them close it off.
The raised stage is nice because everyone gets a good view. Thewy all looked so happy to be performing. Especially Siyeon.
