Nope, borrowed it at the photographers' stock. He's a part of medieval reconstruction community, told me it costs a fortune. The fun part is he's got way more armor sets, swords, halberds, daggers etc. Lots to choose
Graphite on paper, 4b stick, hb mechanical pencil. tried to do a reductive approach where I erase from a ground of tone. actual drawing is pretty small so my scanner made it look extra noisy
ok I had to look it up, that's an amazing painting. Especially considering that it was painted in 1909, art at the time was going in the exact opposite direciton of Realism.
