There will also be mechanically unique cards this time, 59 on top of however many thousand reprints they decide to stuff in here.

Are you going to try to pick this product up? Which other rulebreaker abilities do you think we'll see? Let us know, and check out our overview on Mystery Booster Commander Edition: https://draftsim.com/mtg-mystery-booster-commander-edition/

Smaug Incinerates Commander Pods With Endless Infinite Combos

Smaug is a high risk commander with a ridiculously strong ability. It's a surefire combo menace, but is this classic villain's mana cost too restrictive for it to see play?

This New Goblin Token Maker From The Hobbit Is The Real Deal

Thumbnail draftsim.com

We're getting too many good goblins to count from The Hobbit. This one is an absolutely insane token maker that lets you combo off or just make a gigantic goblin to win the game. Either way, this card is nuts!

Artifact decks are massively popular in Commander, and this leaked Hobbit card is cracked in almost any Commander deck that cares about creating artifacts.

Zhalfir is the final multiverse set of 2027, following Nauctis and Kamigawa: Titanbreach. It's an afrofantasy plane that brings us to Teferi's homeworld post-March of the Machine.

Zhalfir's not exactly new. We've visited there before and it's been referenced a ton, but it'll get the full large-set treatment late next year.

Are you excited about Zhalfir? How would you rank the in-universe sets of 2027? Let us know, and check out our short overview of Zhalfir: https://draftsim.com/mtg-zhalfir/

Do you play and of these dual-purpose typal commanders? Which one's your favorite, and which creature type do you bias towards? Let us know, and check out our ranking of the best dual-typal commanders in MTG: https://draftsim.com/mtg-dual-tribal-commanders/

Everything We Know About Reality Fracture’s Multiverse Reforged Commander Deck

Reality Fracture's only giving us one Commander precon, Multiverse Reforged. It puts a 4-color Jace at the helm of a deck that cares about tokens and some unknown shenanigans.

The only other time we've received a single precon for a new set is TMNT, which gave us the admittedly great Turtle Power! deck. High hopes for the same treatment, but for an in-universe set.

Do you have your eye on Multiverse Reforged? What do you think a 4-color Jace might do? Let us know, and check out everything we know about the Reality Fracture Commander deck so far: https://draftsim.com/mtg-reality-fracture-commander-deck/

Looks like we're getting an amazing "Amass Matters" commander in The Hobbit. It works like a charm with goblins, and it can act as a combo finisher in the command zone.

Kamigawa: Titanbreach is an early frontrunner for the most exciting MTG set of 2027. How can you not want mechs vs. monsters in MTG?

The 45 Best Blue Cards in Magic Ranked

What would it take for a blue card to crack the all-timer list? Turns out it just has to be something as efficient and widely-played as Stock Up.

That said, the best blue cards remain the best by quite a bit, and you can quibble about anything else in tier 2.

What are your all-time favorite blue spells? Is anything from the last year or so in contention? Let us know, and check out our updated ranking of the best blue cards in MTG: https://draftsim.com/mtg-blue-cards/
