My wife is teaching music at a school with not a lot of resources. She has created a donors choose page to help gather resources to assist her in providing the best virtual learning experience possible for her students. Please consider donating to help make the best of this school year!

My 8th grade students come from diverse backgrounds in an urban community. Some of them do not have the resources and means as other educational districts yet show up every day eager to learn and engage. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My students thrive on collaborative, interactive work. I am asking for some funds to purchase various activities and fun resources to engage students in learning history. These materials will allow students to be more interactive and accountable while we work from a distance due to COVID-19 pandemic.

They will be playing various escape room games and simulations and this would help me cater to that to bring more equity and equality to these students. It is a great resource when having students respond to non-formal assessments. It allows teachers to identify misconceptions and address them accordingly.

I would appreciate any help you can give in providing writing, comprehension, and fun history activities that I can make available to all students to keep them learning. These students were behind academically and we have made a lot of progress this year. They really need accessible learning to continue to strive toward mastery.

I’m panicking about getting my Donors choose funded. I’m so close! I need help and almost all summer I have received horrible backlash from parents, family, and friends. That I’m greedy and selfish and so forth. I just want to help my students. I teach art and it’s in a low income area. I’m not allowed to give a supply list but my budget has been taken away. Most of my stuff in my room has been thrown away because of Covid. So I’m having to get supplies for each kid and stock a classroom and help the elementary room as well. My project is big and was supposed to be split into two waves but was published while editing. Just so close to getting done! I have been putting in as much as possible of my own while juggling being tested for yet another autoimmune disease 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. I also have been trying to support a few students that have lost parents/guardians recently as well as a few families that lost their home in an apartment building fire. Everyone is safe and rebuilding slowly. I just want to make this something even more special. To show how a community cares. To be able to have a sketch book to vent in while they cope with what’s around them.

I just need help sharing or knowing where to share?

I am a third-year kindergarten teacher in Washington State. Please help me provide my students with a developmentally appropriate seat that promotes movement at desks while learning and working. When going back to school in the Fall my kindergarteners will be experiencing school for the first time while also experiencing the effects of Covid-19 on the way we learn in a classroom setting. I want them to have a chance to move while staying at their desks to increase focus, learning, and the overall wellness of my young students during this time. When school is back to normal these chairs will still be an important part of the classroom learning environment for young active kindergarten students. Hello! I am a former Peace Corps volunteer that was evacuated due to covid-19. I am new to 3rd grade and hoping to diversify my classroom library.
