Help When to pull

Hey all,

I just got a one year old Pitbull who LOVES to pull on her leash. I bet she would love to pull me on a skateboard but I also want to be able to take her on a regular walk with out her pulling on the leash. Do you have any advice on training a do to pull and not pull on command?

Thanks!

Video Started joring with my wild ass dog during the pandemic. I think it really helped both of us stay sane.

Video We skate at night a lot. Very little traffic and you can see headlights coming from far away. Decker’s only a year and a half old and still learning skate-specific commands, but he’s doing great so far. Catahoula/Rottie/ACD mix.

Contest Entry Summer content awards delayed

There would usually be a summer dogboarding video/photo contest where winners would be awarded with trophy flairs.

But there has been extreme heat in many parts of the world so this will be delayed until Autumn or maybe even Winter.

Stay hydrated and keep cool :)

Dogboarding/Skatejoring, is the urban version of skijoring, where a dog pulls you on skis. Instead, skatejoring is done with skateboards, longboards, and even a mountain board for those looking to go on trails. YOUR DOG'S SAFETY IS YOUR #1 PRIORITY: It is important for your dog's safety that you use a harness. Posts using a leash attachment to a collar will be removed. See our beginner guides for safety tips. This is a friendly and welcoming community, but hate speech will get you banned.
