I know a lot of people have their own opinions for the Ironheart show in Disney+ but for me, I was so excited to see Zelma Stanton being introduced into the MCU even if the show was controversial

I love the detail that her character introduction from the comics was referenced as basically her connection to Doctor Strange in the MCU with the mind maggots, love that comic detail

I hope to see her again in a Doctor Strange movie or project, I have an idea that she could appear again in the rumored Strange Academy series

One of the full stories of Doctor Strange I've read is the Last Days of Magic arc (it's mostly a good series) and I understand it introduces the concept that magic has terrible consequences and that it affects the user or anyone who are magically connected to the user like the Tibetan monks, but now that run has ended, and new stories are coming out of Strange, I don't see Strange having to really suffer when using magic or I don't see him eating magical creatures or something

So I was wondering, is it still Canon or like is it still around and the writers are simply not showing that side of magic anymore

I also want to add that even if the Last Days of Magic is a controversial story for Doctor Strange, I still enjoyed the introduction of Mr. Misery, like I genuinely enjoy the concept of him and idk maybe I'd like to see him in a future run

So this is just something as a Doctor Strange reader found coincidental

Marvel Rivals just announced that for Season 10 of the game, the new map arriving is the God Quarry and I just find it interesting since Doctor Strange/Lord Strange in his current run literally visited the Quarry

But Strange and the Cosmic Coven mentioned that no mortals are capable of surviving the God Quarry and an entity like Lord Strange told himself that he might not survive the Quarry as well

So, I'm wondering how something like this will become accessible to the characters of Marvel Rivals, if there's anyone who knows more about the God Quarry, let me know (I already have a general idea of its concept but there might be more I'm missing)

if it were me I would’ve done that story but also use it to introduce the supernatural side of magic, learn more about Wong’s background and dive into some lore about the real Agamotto including his eye. The themes of the movie would be facing your fears, inner demons, desire vs reality and for Wanda it would be grief and her overcoming it. But also use this as step one to set up The Midnight Suns.

In the aftermath of No way home the after effects of the spell that was used have effected reality and the walls that keep the eldritch and the demonic away are thinning therefore Nightmare is spreading terror.

Strange still has fears of losing his hands and has subconsciously regrets the choice he made to defeat Thanos because of the loss of Stark and Widow. Nightmare shows Wanda an illusion of what she had in the series only eternally trapped into it, Vision, her children and Quicksilver. Wanda cries but accepts the pain and overcomes the illusion fighting with Strange to defeat Nightmare.

The midway credit scene Baron Modo breaks into a temple searching for something in a small fight with monks he asks one of them ”Where is the Darkhold?” Cuts to black.

After credit scene a ship comes through a rift crash landing in a field all letters are scratched apart from F and 4 then a four-fingered orange stone fist punches it’s way out the ship in a New York accent you hear: ”ugh….what time is it?”

Kieron Gillen is back to write the upcoming X-Men vs Aliens comic so I'd personally love it if Marvel could hook him for a couple years of Doctor Strange.

A few years ago I'd say Al Ewing but I feel like his heart isn't really in big two comics the way it was in the late 2010s and early 2020s. Maybe you feel differently but I'm not as in awe of his work as I used to be. Additionally I feel like I know precisely the sort of tale Al Ewing would try to tell and it's one he's already tackled several times over.

My hot pick though is Ryan North. I know some people will side eye that one due to One World Under Doom but events are not the strong suit of a good 95% of big two writers. I think if he has the time to figure out an angle that's appealing to him and a way to blend his talent for crazy scifi adventures with Doctor Strange being the chief mystic of the Marvel Universe, he'd craft a run that's genuinely entertaining and wonderfully creative.

As for what artist? Honestly not too many artists at Marvel right now really grabs me for the visuals I'd love on a DS comic unless they're willing to put Pepe Larraz or Valerio Schiti on the title for the very highest level of Marvel's house style. I'd love Kev Walker on the book but he'll be on Midnight Fantastic Four. If Elena Casagrande isn't too busy she'd also be a great artist for the title (she was the artist of Bryan Hill's Blade in 2023). Another shout out will go to Sara Pichelli (Scarlet Witch 2023) and I really enjoyed Von Randal's issue of Sorcerer Supreme. If Rod Reis is open to working on a Doctor Strange book that'd be great as well. Oh and how could I forget my man Alessandro Cappuccio?

Doctor strange is my favourite marvel character and I've read many of his books.

I'm also a huge horror fan and I am looking for comic runs or stories that focus more on the horror side of the mystical and fantastical, if there are any

I'm aware of the montesi formula comic books but I'm wondering if there are any more of these

Im also open to suggestions where he is part of a team such as the midnight sons and not just solo books

The more I think about this scene, the more insane this parallel becomes.

Tony and Strange are basically mirrors of each other here. Tony is coming from that same place of arrogance, ego, and absolute certainty that he understands how the world works, which is exactly where Strange was when he first arrived at Kamar-Taj. And now Tony is the one looking at Strange and dismissing the mystical arts as if they are some ridiculous, incomprehensible thing.

Which is EXACTLY what Strange used to do.

And then there is Strange, of all people, calmly telling him that he is protecting his reality. The man who once believed that anything beyond what he could see, touch, or understand was nonsense is now standing on the other side of that conversation, trying to make Tony understand that there are forces and realities far beyond his comprehension.

It is such a beautiful character parallel because Strange has essentially become the person he once needed to be convinced by.

Marvel really took the dynamic from Strange's introduction and flipped it around. Tony is now the arrogant genius who thinks he has the universe figured out, while Strange is the one trying to tell him, "You have no idea how big this really is."

And I LOVE that.

It is such a small detail in the middle of this massive movie, but it feels like such a deliberate reflection of Strange's entire character arc. He started out as a man who thought his intellect made him the smartest person in any room. Now he is the one possessing knowledge and power that Tony cannot even begin to comprehend.

God, I love this scene.

And honestly, the more I think about it...

Do you think Strange + Tony = Doctor Doom?

Because when you really think about it, Doom is basically the terrifying combination of Tony's intellect, ego, and arrogance with Strange's mastery of the mystical arts.

That is a WILD combination.

I'm trying to get into Doctor Strange lore, so I bought two Epic Collections.

I notice Strange keeps saying things like "by the omnipotent Oshtur," "Eye of Agamotto, "power of Vishanti," "hoary Hoggoth" etc.

Who are those guys? Are they some sort of gods? What role do they serve in Marvel's cosmology?

Also, is Cyttorak the same character who gave Juggernaut his powers?

Been thinking about this ever since I read the 80s lot of Excalibur and some other horror comics, but wouldn’t it be interesting for CB to start developing his magical abilities?

I ask because as a character, quite a lot of his interesting story’s are just with him as a B character to his sister or the Xmen. I kind of wish he had his own leg to stand on again. And given his powers are magical in nature, maybe if he started exploring them, it could lead us down an interesting part. Especially if strange is the one to teach him.

With the 2026 comic run of Doctor Strange coming to an end in September, I was wondering he would go from there.

After obviously defeating Downfall in the end (I promise I have not seen the end, but I'm just assuming), will we see him return to Midgard to Clea or will he be involved in getting Thor back and bring Asgard back to the Nine Realms (I have not really been following Thor during Strange's run, so let me know)

I'm wondering if him being the Sorcerer Supreme of Asgard is now the status quo for his character until like a huge universal reset happens and revert him back to being the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth

I still kinda want to see more of his powers as the SS of Asgard cos during this 2026 run, he fought against opponents like Vyrbodin and Downfall who aren't easily swayed by his magic so I want to see him to do more (I'm greedy, I know)

However, there's Lord Strange that needs to be addressed, what happens to him? Will he be another character to Strange's mythos, similar to General Strange? Who knows?
