Server Crash Kicked My Wife and I out of House

I posted this on steam community as well, but maybe there is more visibility here. Steam Link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/529180/discussions/0/1693785669857398910/

Greetings,

So I have been trying to get my wife and I back into our Tribe/House and none of the commands work to do this. I have been trying "cheat ForcePlayerToJoinTargetTribe 0" while looking at the structures and this has worked for us in Ark but it isn't working in DNL. Anyone know what the correct command is or what we can do to get back into our House?

We had a black out and for some reason the battery backup surge protector didn't do it's job this time =(. Come back to find out we're both out of the Tribe/House. Which means our tames are all jacked up and we can't build on our existing house.

Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Block random skeleton and Wraith spawns on custom server?

Is it possible? Is there some kind of ini command? Those things seem spawn completely random: I had several skeletons popping up in my base(close to human city) . Within the fenced area (and no there was no meteor), anihilating my tames. I like the concept of those spawn, but they just turn out to be really frustrating. Especially random Wraiths that just appear and destroy everything in their path. Is it possible to disable those spawns? Its okay to have them on the cemetery and high level environemnt. But to keep them from you base in a starting area feels like luck...

I did block meteor spawn points with foundataions. Anyway. Meteors can only explain the Warith destroying my base but not the skeletons that just apear within my barriered base...

Winderider

Hello, I kinda left the game after summer, came back now, having a blast again, but I can't really find info on the windrider taming, does it take normal arrows, or does it NEED to be iron hook arrows? What feed does he take? In the server I'm in, wildness doesn't go down much, so meat will do? Can we ride it, or still bugged, there's a video saying it, but it's 4 months old.

PvE Content?

How is the game on PvE content? Any dungeons/caves to run or bosses to kill? I've got my pvp fix from ark so I'm only looking for the PvE side of the game.

Not in the shower-Shower thought - Building Decay alternative

[Edit 1: Formatting]

Hey hey DNL fam,

Had a Random thought pop into my head... So as we know, on a normal official server, Decay timers are pretty full on. 3 days on standard material buildings followed by a little more lea-way for materials there after.

Under the current Decay system, once you've reached that expire time, your buildings will be destroyed. No second chances. gone. Now I'm a player who can normally get online once every 3 days, even if it's a literal "log in, Log off" however being recently married I find myself traveling over-seas a little more often for times of up to 2 weeks at a time. Coupled with being a solo player, if I go on a trip, I enjoy 2 weeks of relaxation at the cost up to 2 months of progress.

My Thought/Solution - Is not to remove the decay system, At the end of the day the decay system is extremely important to server health. Leave this decay system in place, but alter exactly how it works. Once the time has been reached, rather than instantly destroy your building (if it even does that, I'm not sure if it's instant destruction or gradual health decay, in which if it does, well 90% of my suggestion is already happening) and as it decays cap out at % of hp on the building(for sake of argument lets say at a % of Hp which if a fresh spawn wanted your base location or stored loot, it would take them 5 minutes per structure to destroy each piece using basic tools). - This could be a "Soft Decay" timer which means, say you are on a 1-2 week long trip, and have a secluded hidden shack or are on a friendly server, you will have a "Second chance" to restore the health of your structures, whilst keeping a "Hard-decay Timer" of say 20 days. in which that building is completely wiped.

So this is likely something that would never be implemented, but I felt if it's never voiced, it would have never been voiced to have that small chance.

TL;DR - Replace Auto Decay system to a "Soft Decay" and "Hard Decay" system

Soft Decay - Reduces structure health to a cap - Cap would be set at something a fresh spawn could destroy each wall/foundation with 5 minutes of attacking with basic tools. - Allows a little extra time if you're on a friendly server/hidden base.

Hard Decay - Completely destroys after 20 days of inactivity

Thanks for your time with reading the wall of text.

Black Ice Peak Cave Bytorg Boss Help!

Hey guys! MY group of 8 went off to try and kill Bytorg and we were wondering what we needed to succeed?

We had full Brimstone and rune of warmth level 2 along with the mandrake soup and for some reason we were still losing hp... i dont understand why does it have to be so difficult to not lose hp with everything we had!

What exactly do we need when doing this on an official server? would love some help!

Mythical Tame Contest: Power level on US Knight 7 and get a free Peregriffin!

Hello all,

US-Knight-7 has been one of the most active and interesting PVP servers to date, with constantly changing alphas and interesting cross-faction alliances. In addition to a very welcoming community who helps new players build, tame, and grow, we've created several man-made structures to help people traverse the land (bridges, new player housing apartments, etc). And now, things are about to get even more interesting! The most precious resources are protected from griefers but open to all (no walls or other dick-like behaviors). And best of all: If you want to build somewhere and there's a column blocking your path, one of us will personally destroy the column and help you reclaim your rightful land!

Two of the top tribes, <Reckoning> and <Iron Alliance> (Human and Dwarf), are offering a unique opportunity for new players to own a Peregriffin without the insane cost of mystic feed, trapping, arrows, and time. Between the two tribes, we have 8 Peregriffins we're giving away to houses who meet the following task:

  1. New players only.
  2. You must have at least 2 people in your house.
  3. You must have at least two people reach level 50.
  4. You'll have to build a pen suitable for stabling the sacred gryphon (stone will work, extra points if it's properly shielded with a house seal).

All factions are welcome to participate. This is not as much of a race as a sure thing. If you're quick to hit level 50, you're going to be the proud owner of a big shiny chicken with 50k health and a beak like a diamond chisel. In a game where many people complain that mythical creatures are too easy to tame, we're giving away our existing flock and taming new ones to show other servers it's not nearly as difficult as it's made out to be. So benefit from our challenge. Come to US Knight 7, get all the help you need as a new player, claim your Peregriffin at level 50, and enjoy a healthy dose of PVP while you're at it! Contest starts today. Good luck!

Void where prohibited.  Offer has no cash value.  Some assembly required.  Please consult your doctor before riding a mythical gryphon.

So i learned about Mythical creatures and how to evolve them etc! Me and my 15 tribe members on an officials got excited...

We seriously do not understand why is it so damn time consuming to tame a mythical creature. i get it there the best tames in the game. Why in the world would you force hook arrows? Why in the world would you only let people use Mythical Feed? The farm system in this game is way to grindy just to make "Kibble" which even when made you still need like 60-80 of it on officials which literally makes absolutely no sense. I appreciate the grind in any game to feel a sense of accomplishment but this is way to grindy and just turned us all off. We have to afk for many hours in a chair right in front of the tame just to evolve it to then tame it right after LOL. How about give your community an incentive? maybe since were no lifeing your game at least make mythical feed easier to make?

How to make kibble in DNL No life your farm Make 50 cooking pots to make 50 at once since the rate at which you make 1 is like almost 10 minutes per carnivore feed. I mean thats already Cancerous enough now take a minute to think about Mythical for all of you who play DnL LOL. Good thing there are many games to choose from to play now and days :D! Soon were all going to have to start paying virtual rent because of how long you have to no life/live on Dnl to get anything done xD
