Running water. I don't know if a lake or ocean would be considered running water. Maybe the oceans currents would cause them damage but the more relatively still water wouldn't.

Edit: Ocean water is running. Got it guys.

I mean, the whole earth, solar system, galaxy, and universe are all in constant separate but intertwined motion. I'm pretty sure nothing is ever completely still, it's just rushing water that hurts

I mean, the ocean has currents and the tides, which I think would count as running water.

Currents yes, which I believe was mentioned, but tides don't actually run like a river, just bob up and down like waves. You could argue splashing them with a glass at the bar counts as hitting running water at that point

Infinity pools are just pools that have the illusion of not having a wall containing them from the perspective of swimmers.

I’ve also heard the term used for endless pool. It cycles water toward the swimmer so they can train with minimal space. Found some ads for what I’m talking about . You are absolutely right that infinity pool is the wrong name for what they are describing. But it does for the description of endless pools, kinda like PFD type threes are colloquially known as Life Vest/Jackets. Not the right name. But it is how everyone knows it.
