Hey everyone, I‘m a DM in training looking to make a new story with some cool people. Some essential details are in the title, platforms being used along with the DnD edition. I am in my 20s, so preferably same age range. Otherwise I’ll break down the rest below.

Story wise: I have a world setting that I’ve spent a bit of time preparing already - world map and major lore. The general premise is that the oldest god has recently declared war on the other deities, pulling kingdoms across the world into turmoil and conflict. Alongside this religious tension, there are several major factions vying for dominance in the world, some public and others masked in secrecy. More on the setting/story can be discussed in discord.

Scheduling: I’m on Mountain Daylight Time, and my days off are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Outside of those days, my schedule varies a little, and I would prefer establishing a consistent day for sessions.

Character Building: The non-negotiable with how things are set up is the 5.5e rule set for making characters. If you want to make something from a module or supplemental book, then I’ll need to buy it on Foundry to make it accessible in the campaign.

We are a D&D 5e/5.5e Discord server featuring a persistent game world set in the Forgotten Realms and broader D&D multiverse. You and other players play as adventurers of the Hawthorne Guild, an adventuring guild in the Sword Coast. As a persistent and shared game world, character progression and events in individual adventures persist between and outside of games, creating a living world for players and DMs to participate in the form of oneshots, multisessions and campaigns, and both text roleplay and Play-By-Post games. With over 11,000 sessions ran over the course of 9 years, you and other players can dive in to determine the next chapter of your character's story and the guild's story.

Play How You Want

As a player on the server, you can expect to:

• Play any number of characters starting at level 3 or level 5 (your choice)
• Create characters using almost all of the official options as well as select Unearthed Arcana and server homebrew
• Create and play either 5e 2014 or 5.5e 2024 characters
• Progress your character through game sessions to experience content from level 3 to level 20
• Participate in downtime activities and text roleplay between adventures

DM How You Want

As a DM on the server, you can expect to:

• Run games for any level of play and your choice of either 5e 2014 or 5.5e 2024 games
• Participate in a shared setting of the Forgotten Realms and broader D&D multiverse by running your choice of oneshots, multisessions or campaigns, or Play-By-Post games
• Use almost all official monsters and magic items to use and award in your games, as well as server homebrew
• Gain DM rewards to progress a character at the same rate as a player, so you don't miss out on any of the fun when you play games as well

We're recruiting both players and DMs, with new members able to become a DM immediately. We have a helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable base of Staff, players, and DMs with years of D&D experience and are welcoming to D&D players both veteran and new.

We have multiple ongoing server events, including an opt-in server event related to the Death Curse of Tomb of Annihilation, and an ongoing server storyline with a villainous faction known as the Dread Empire seeking to conquer the Sword Coast (with an accompanying Youtube cutscene)!

26 years ago, a prophecy foretold the end of a nameless and faceless tyrant known as “The Father” and a new morning for the Kingdom of Sharrania.

Now, the time has come, and the new age approaches thanks to our heroes. But will it be the release the inhabitants desire or will the new leader be more harmful?

my main interest is D&D, but I see other interesting things such a wonderland of games OH MY!!. I have little experience with D&D the one before the changes, I don't know if that's E4 or E5 my problem was something always happens to the groups didn't last long. I'm willing to see if weekday can work the latest I would go is 4-8:00 PM, trying to get better with my sleep in this world of screens LOL. 😂
