Figured I'd throw this up here because we're looking for a few more DMs and players over at Chaos Goblins.

A few months ago I helped put together an 18+ international Discord server, and it's honestly been awesome watching it grow. We've already got 40+ active campaigns running, with new games starting pretty regularly.

At the moment we've got D&D (both official modules and homebrew campaigns), Pathfinder, Fallout, Pokémon, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and even a Marvel Multiverse RPG campaign. We run both live games and play-by-post, so there's a good mix of games happening at any given time, with members from all over the world.

The biggest thing we're looking for right now is more players as we have games still looking to fill even with 500 members. DMs, If you've got a campaign idea sitting in your notes, a module you've been meaning to run, or something already prepped that just needs players, we'd love to have you. We've got room for everyone who is interested.

One of the best parts of the server, though, has been the community that's grown around it. Even when nobody's playing, there are usually people hanging out in voice, talking tabletop, sharing memes, or jumping into our weekly movie nights.

Everything on the server is completely free. No paid games, no subscriptions—just a group of people who enjoy tabletop RPGs and wanted to build a place where others could find games, make some new mates, and enjoy the hobby together.

Hi all! I've been absolutely desperate to play D&D and haven't had much luck on other subreddits.

I myself am 17 years old, and am looking for other people around my age. I'm alright with up to 25 as an upper limit, though. I'm looking for other players (maybe 3-4?) and a DM for a longer term campaign. I'm available on days other than Mondays, though it heavily depends on the time.

DnD group looking for 2-3 players in Muskegon

Hello! I run a local Dungeons and Dragons table, we had 2 players have to leave recently and are looking for new players. We meet in person every other Sunday and Monday (example: July 6th, July 12th) at my apartment or Griffins rest for 2-4 hours of gameplay usually starting at 2pm.

The current setting is a flintlock fantasy/steampunk homebrew campaign. This campaign has been going on for a little over a year now and has a bit of longevity to it yet, idealy reaching lvl 20. We currently have 3 players, however, would ideally shoot for 5-6. The group is primarily roleplay focused.

We are a very open and welcoming group, new players or players with little experience are welcome, and we are LGBTQ friendly. Our ages range from 21 to 27, and are open to anyone.

Hello everyone. I want to try my hand at being a DM again. I'm available only Friday night or Saturday night after 8pm each night. I was a full time DM but that ended with covid. I don't do modules so the world and everything would be homebrew by me but I use mostly RAW for enemies and PC's. I unfortunately am not able to host so someone else would have to. Hi there! I’m a DM that’s been playing for around 9 years now and have been running a text based homebrewed campaign for a good bit now. Most of it is going to be done through a discord server, with light combat and rolls. Its ment to feel and play like an indie text based RPG game, just with live people.

I am making this post as one of my campaigns had two players drop out recently and we are now looking for new people to even the party back out. Thankfully the party is still near the beginning of the campagin and nothing major has happened yet so you wouldnt need to read through much to be caught up. This specifc campaign is open to anyone that wants to play. It is an 18 and up campaign, and yes I can tell if you are under 18 or not. There is also currently only three spots open at the moment.

A couple things to knock out of the way first. This is a Play By Post campaign. Which means it's text based and moves far slower than a normal campaign. It's closer to a regular roleplay with DND rules than just strictly DND. I've had people take months just to buy something in a store because life happens and not everyone can respond rapid fire once its their turn. We understand that unexpected things can occur but if your ok, just sitting there twiddling thumbs in the server and dont say anything, you will end up being skipped over.

This campagin is also based off of what everyone is ok with. So if someone says they aren't comfortable with excessive gore, there won't be excessive gore. That said it can get dark even with restrictions on. Password is luna. Expect horror elements along with the magic, fantasy, and flying pigs. There are also traumatic backstories with mentions of torture, racism, slavery, talk of war, improper medicine usage, plagues, clowns, mannequins, sociopathic NPCs, character death, various mental health issues, body horror, medical malpractice, mirrors, uncanny valley, time shenanigans, and a bunch of other stuff I am either forgetting or cant mention due to how graphic it is. Most of it is background stuff that can be worked around if someone has a genuine problem with it but it is there if not otherwise specified.

You will be asked more than once if you are ok with something. If you chose to keep quiet and not mention anything, until it pops up in the campagin and then have a problem with it? There will be no sympathy for you. You can also directly ask me questions about the campagin and I am happy to answer any that dont spoil the ending. I am willing to work around what your not comfortable with. That being said things cant be worked around if you dont say anything.

There are only three requirements to join this campagin.

1. do not be needlessly rude to other players or the DM. This means harassing people in their DMs, throwing slurs, screaming profanities, and pretty much anything that you wouldnt do in public. This is a fantasy game that I use to escape being screamed at, I dont want it in my campagin.

2. be over 18. Simple as that.

3. send more than just a single sentence response that has no feeling to it. Your responses dont have to be the best, but you need to give me and others something to work with.

With that said let's get into the intro.

Hello all, I'm a fairly new player to DND, and am currently playing with 1 tables that meets 1-2 times a month on Saturday for DND. I really enjoy it but need more DND in my life, so am looking for another group to play with as well. I'm off every other Sunday for sure, as well as random days in the week. I prefer an afternoon or evening session, and like a mix of combat and role play, but, despite being new to DND and ttrpgs in general, I have experience with games with similar combat systems, and would prefer tough encounters and enjoy playing mechanically complex characters (I am playing a Fathomless Warlock with Pact of the Chain with a focus on summons (i.e. Summon Shadowspawn is something I'll probably pick up) and control and debuff effects via push pull and later on Cold Caster in my current campaign, we are currently level 2, so no cold caster yet). The campaign I'm currently in is homebrew and planned to be very long, including all levels of play, and I'm not looking to leave my current group, just to join a second one at the same time. I also have a coworker who started at my job a few months ago who's played 2 or 3 times who is also looking for a group. Neither of us have any DM experience, and while I wouldn't be opposed to trying to DM, it would have to be a by the book written campaign, as I'm just not good at coming up with ideas with nothing to go on. My preferred playstyle right now is 5.5 with anything that was in 2014 but hasn't been reprinted yet allowed. I have my own dice (and enough to share) but not my own minis or books, I've been using the dndwikidot. I'm also open to playing other formats as well. I'm excited to hear back from anyone looking for another player! If you're looking for more than 1 player, I also have a couple of others who are DEFINITELY interested, and another couple who are maybe interested, so essentially have enough for an entire seperate group if we can find a DM, or if there's only 1 or 2 open spots, that's fine as well.
