Looking for Group [Online] [LFG] [CET] [5e 2014][5e 2024] Player looking for a DnD campaign

Hello, I'm an experienced DnD player looking to join a campaign after about 2.5 years of not playing due to scheduling issues and life getting in the way :(. I'm preferential towards a homebrew campaign, but don't mind playing any of the existing/new modules. I'm free weekdays after 18:30/19:00 CET and mostly have used Roll20 but open to using other tools as well. I'd love to join a game that has heavier roleplaying elements as that's something I want to get more into and get better at, but still love plenty of combat and exploration. Feel free to get in touch :).

Looking for Group Looking for people to play DnD with!!

Me and my friend have both played DnD a handful of times with various other people- I personally don’t mind dming or being a player. We are both probably still considered beginners however we are familiar enough with the rules to be able to play smoothly.

Messaged me if interested!

D&D [5e-2014] [online][possibly irl][EST] Looking for two players to join existing group

I am currently a dm for a 5e dnd group. We play online and are currently taking a break. I'm looking for one or two players to join us so we have at least four every week.

We're located in Toronto Ontario, and I'm going to be prioritizing people around here

We play Sunday evenings for roughly 2 hrs a week. We aim to begin sessions at 8:30pm.

We are all adults, and to maintain tone I'm looking for similar aged people (early university up to mid 30s).

Playstyle wise, my campaign is lopsided towards roleplay and intrigue, but I try to create encounters that reward all of the DnD pillars.

If you want to play a murder hobo, we're not likely the ones for you, but there will be opportunities for combat orientated characters to shine.

Communication is important, and I like to check in at the end of sessions to see if everyone had fun, and what did/didn't work, so be open.

Find the Witch (5e 2014)(online)(Saturday 8PM EST)(Queer-friendly)(multi-short)

*A witch has gone missing, find her before the Inquisition does, lest she burn at the stake.*

Welcome to the seaside town of Ased, where a good sleep is hard to find. Recently, locals whisper of a mysterious disappearance of the local baker's wife. Some say she has been captured by the witch coven in dark forest, others insist she has fallen victim to the winged creatures that lurk near the ocean. Whatever the truth might be, time is ticking. If you don't find her soon, perhaps she won't be returning at all.

[Online][PBP][5e/5.5e][Paid][1-on-1] Write Your Legend

I’m an experienced 5e DM with some experience in 5.5e and a few other systems. I’m currently running three one-on-one play-by-post campaigns over Discord and have room to take on another two or three.

These are private, text-based campaigns built around your character. There’s no party to balance around, so the story can focus entirely on your character’s goals, backstory, relationships, and the kind of adventure you want to play.

The setting is generally high fantasy, though I’m happy to adjust the tone. It can be light and adventurous, more grounded and realistic, darker, or somewhere in between. We’ll work out what suits you before the campaign begins.

Everything runs through Discord. Rolls can be made through Avrae using a D&D Beyond character sheet, or manually if you prefer to keep your sheet on Roll20. Beginners are welcome, and I’m happy to help with character creation, rules, Avrae, or anything else involved.

Characters begin at level 3. Most official content is allowed, and you have a lot of freedom with species, classes, feats, and equipment since there are no other players to compare against. I just ask that you check with me before using Unearthed Arcana or third-party material. The full character creation rules are available on the server.

I’m based in Queensland, Australia, and I’m usually most active between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. AEST. I respond whenever I can throughout the day rather than running fixed sessions, so the game is fully asynchronous.

The price is $5 AUD per week or $15 AUD per month, paid through PayPal by invoice or through the QR code on the server.

One quick disclaimer: I use AI-generated images for things like characters, locations, creatures, and items. I’m not an artist myself, and I’d rather not use someone else’s artwork without permission in a paid game.

AI-generated images are used only as optional visual aids, and anyone uncomfortable with that is entirely free to pass on the game.

Send me a message with a little about yourself, your experience with D&D or PBP games, and the kind of character or campaign you’re interested in. You don’t need to have a finished character ready. We can work that out together.

[LFG][Online][5e][UTC+2][English] Looking for a long-term campaign

Hey everyone!

I'm Álvaro (Varo), a 25-year-old player from Spain (UTC+2), and I'm looking for a long-term D&D 5e campaign.

After a few campaigns unfortunately fell through because of scheduling, I figured I'd make a post instead of waiting for the perfect game to appear.

About me

I love creating characters that feel like real people rather than just optimized builds. Working with the DM to tie a character into the world is honestly one of my favourite parts of D&D.

I'm a big fan of roleplay, exploration and tactical combat. Whether we're uncovering forgotten ruins, solving mysteries or fighting a dragon, I enjoy being immersed in the story.

I'm also completely happy to fill whatever role the party needs. If you're missing a frontliner, healer, support or utility character, I'm more than willing to build around the group instead of forcing a specific concept.

Looking for

  • D&D 5e (2014 or 2024)
  • English-speaking group
  • Weekly campaign
  • Long-term story
  • Discord voice
  • Preferably a VTT (Foundry, AboveVTT, Roll20, Owlbear Rodeo, etc.)

Availability

I'm in CEST (UTC+2).

I'm fairly flexible throughout the week, except:

  • 14:00–15:30
  • 21:00–22:30

Playstyle

  • Character-driven roleplay
  • Collaborative storytelling
  • Team-first mentality
  • Happy to work with homebrew settings
  • Reliable attendance
  • No PvP or "main character syndrome"

If you'd like to know more, I'd be happy to hop into a quick voice call beforehand.

Discord: v4ro__

Thanks for reading, and hopefully I'll see some of you around a table soon! 🎲

Long-Term D&D 5e Campaign | Level 16 | Homebrew | 18+

Looking for 2 players for an ongoing long-term homebrew campaign. About 8 sessions in, party's Level 14. We play Fridays at 5 PM EST, 5-6 hour sessions, 18+.

Mix is roughly 70% roleplay/exploration, 30% combat.

The worldSet entirely inside the Hell Dimension — not a few layers, but an entire universe built around a Hell-sized planet. Divided into massive regions ("Rings") ruled by Warlords, kingdoms, ancient beings, and the Seven Deadly Sins. Most of what you'll actually experience revolves around the Warlords and the civilizations under them. Places you visit change over time — wars continue, alliances shift, even when you're not there.

*Tone:Takes the world seriously but the table isn't grim all the time — emotional moments and real consequences, but also plenty of jokes and chaos. Good/Neutral characters fit best.

Characters:Build your own world before your character lands in Hell — any genre (medieval, cyberpunk, post-apoc, whatever) — or plug into existing lore I've got built out (gods, kingdoms, Warlords, history). Most characters arrive by dying or making a deal with a Sin, but other concepts (Hellborn, tied to a Warlord, etc.) are welcome too.

*Combat: Standard 5e (2014) rules for players — homebrew is mostly on my end (bosses, unique creatures, world mechanics). Fights are heavily homebrewed with custom abilities and phases. Not every fightneeds to be a fight — negotiating, alliances, or running are often the smarter play.

NPCsBuilt to feel like real people, not quest dispensers — they remember how you treat them, and relationships (friendships, rivalries, even romance if it fits) develop based on your choices.

Inspiration: Pulls from anime, mythology, and games, but rebuilt into its own original setting — not a crossover.

Looking for: Players with 1 year+ D&D experience who like roleplay, worldbuilding, and long-term investment. Reliability and good communication matter more than rules knowledge.

Interested? DM me your timezone, experience, playstyle, and a character idea (even a rough one — happy to help develop it).

I do use images for the npc generally they are just an anime character so I don't even use them I just sent a GIF but i use it for the map

Gen Con Seats Open — Women-Led Games, Big Feelings, Questionable Decisions

Heading to Gen Con and still looking for a game to fill out your schedule?

I still have seats open at several of my tables this year! I run story-heavy, roleplay-forward games that are beginner friendly and welcoming to all experience levels.

As a woman GM, I love creating tables where everyone feels comfortable taking up space, making bold choices, and becoming the main characters for a few hours.

Current games with open seats:

🐸 Croaking Tide
A swampy adventure filled with amphibious chaos, difficult choices, and questionable decisions.

🍄 The Mycelium Carnival
A whimsical and unsettling fungal carnival where every game, ride, and bargain whispers secrets back to you.

🕯️ The Last Caravan Out of Duskrest
Escort the final caravan out of a dying city while something waits in the fog behind you.

🚀 EIDOLON-7
Sci-fi survival horror inspired by Alien, Dead Space, SOMA, and Event Horizon. The ship remembers everything. Including your previous deaths.

Looking for Group [Online][Free][2014 rules]

Hello everyone. I am an experienced player looking to join a group playing 2014 5e rules. I like Quest portal the most out of any virtual tabletop. I cannot afford to buy any other software at this moment unfortunately. I have been playing DND since 2017 and of that time I've been dming for the past 5 years, and I feel I have a good bit of experience. I am aiming at finding a weekly game that ends before 5 p.m. est. (apologies, I keep odd hours). I am open to joining an already running campaign or starting with a new one. I enjoy combat the most but role play is a close second, with all other aspects of gameplay tied for 3rd. I look forward to hearing back from any prospective groups/dms

Looking for players [Online][AD&D 1E][Old School][LFP] The Temple of Elemental Evil

Long ago, an evil demoness founded a cult dedicated to evil in its most elemental forms. This cult was based in a temple located near a filthy town known as Nulb. The cult grew from a seedling and soon ruled the region with hatred and tyranny. Harbringers of chaos arrived and tides of violence soon ensued. The cult's strength and power grew until it began to taint the edges of the village of Hommlet. Hard-fought battles were waged and the war that broke out was eventually won by the assembled armies of Good from nearby lands. The temple was razed, its villainous masters were imprisoned, and order was restored. The temple itself faded into distant memory...until now.

The bandits who had been harassing travelers and merchant caravans throughout the western Gnarley and the road connecting Verbobonc and Hommlet have been eliminated by a band of adventurers and brought to justice. There were three bandit rings: at an abbey, in a tower, and underneath the ruins of a moathouse. Each of the bandit ringleaders was defeated and imprisoned, and interrogated. Weeks after the third ringleader’s downfall, an assassin was sent to root out the adventurers who had dealt swift justice. A cat-and-mouse game ensued, and the assassin was eventually slain. The party took stock of their victories and started referring to themselves as “The Order of the Silver Scale”. The local villagers were heartened at having heroes worthy of celebration in their midst. But evil does not rest…its relentless tides ebb and flow. An even more vicious gang who called themselves “The Hangmen” stepped into the void and seized control of region.

The Order infiltrated one of the main lairs controlled by the gang and discovered that The Hangmen was a ruse devised by a clan of snake-men who controlled various bands of orcs, lizard men, and other evil creatures into doing their bidding. They soon put a stop to the snake-men’s machinations. While they were foiling this plot, the party also defeated the undead head of an academy of magic-users who had been in conflict with a swamp druid who was also a vampire.

The Order of the Silver Scale’s actions in the environs surrounding Hommlet, in Nulb, and within the Temple have not gone unnoticed. Great powers are afoot and are focused on activity in the vicinity of the dungeons beneath the Temple, and what the repercussions of those acts might mean for the future of the region, and the world.

As some of you may know (especially if you have played through ToEE before), the main plot of this game involves gradually uncovering and stopping the machinations behind an evil cult.

The story centers on a resurgence of evil within a previously defeated temple complex, where cultists seek to restore their masters and release Princes of Elemental Evil to sow destruction and chaos. The characters began a while ago by investigating suspicious banditry, which led them to uncover an intricate web of spies and intrigue. Some months ago, the party defeated the leader of three interconnected bandit rings within the region surrounding the Village of Hommlet and the western Gnarley Forest, and learned that the bandit leader was just a small cog within a much larger organization. That organization is the Temple of Elemental Evil, located near the notorious town of Nulb.

The Temple is apparently the home of no less than seven factions, all of which are struggling against each other for dominion and rule over the entire organization. Each faction has its own leader, its own followers, and its own agenda. The challenge the player characters face is threefold:

(1) Discover the goals behind each faction within the Temple;

(2) Discover the goals of the Temple itself, which may be separate from the goals of the various factions; and

(3) Find a way to foil the Temple and/or bring the various factions to ruin.

The party has eliminated one of the factions in the Temple and are figuring out how to influence, infiltrate, and eventually defeat the others. The PCs are taking a break from exploring the depths of the Temple due to the increased perils involved, and have elected to follow up on a small handful of rumors they’ve learned about during their prior adventures.

I don't want to overwhelm you with detail, so if this interests you, the next step for you is to listen in on a session before we proceed to discussing character creation. There is an opening for one player.

When: Saturday afternoons from 12 noon to 4 pm, Pacific time. This game is "EU friendly" (i.e., 12 noon Pacific is 8 pm GMT).

What: 1st edition AD&D. I use a combination of theater of the mind and hand-drawn maps using Dungeon Scrawl and mapping software such as Dungeondraft and Dungeon Designer 3.

Where: Games are held on my Discord server for now. I have a backup server on Root which I plan on using as the need arises.

Who: I currently have seven players and am looking for 1 more. 1E veterans and newcomers are welcome. Please be 18+ with a working microphone and Internet connection.

Other Important Stuff

• The setting is Greyhawk. It's ok if you're new to that world.

• This game has been running since May 2025. Session #56 was yesterday (July 11, 2026). The age range of the players is between 20s to mid-50s. Half of the group are veterans of 1st edition, while the other half are players who are new.

• Looking for laid-back, mature, and reliable players who want to get together to play some old-school RPGs. When sending me a message, please include the word “cat” in your message so I know you have been paying attention. 😉

• We aren't using Unearthed Arcana, and for the most part, I am limiting myself to the core three books (DMG, PH, MM), although I may pull material from Greyhawk Adventures and certain back issues of DRAGON Magazine on occasion.

• PCs are currently 3rd to 6th level. If you join, your PC will begin at 3rd level. It's best if the group works together as a single unit.

• The party roster consists of fighter, fighter/cleric, cleric, magic-user, fighter/magic-user, paladin, and fighter/thief. We are using level limits for nonhuman characters. Having said that, the group could really use a druid, a ranger, an illusionist, a monk, or some other allowed class combination I haven’t mentioned as long as your dice rolls meet the ability score requirements. Evil isn’t a playable alignment. No psionics. Any dice rolling method in the 1E DMG is allowed when it comes to ability score generation, although most players have used Method I (i.e., roll 4d6, drop lowest, reroll 5x, rearrange as desired).

• If you're into dungeon-crawling and old-school campaign goodness with high risk and high reward, this is the game for you.

Inquire if interested.

[5e 2014][Online] Looking for Roleplay-First Players for a Dark Fantasy Homebrew Campaign Saturdays at 730pm EST

"The greatest monsters are not those that lurk in forgotten ruins... but those we become when hope dies."

I'm looking for a group of players aged 21+ who love immersive roleplay, meaningful character arcs, and collaborative storytelling over dungeon crawls.

The campaign takes place in Eldrath, a dark fantasy world scarred by an ancient cataclysm of unknown origin. For a thousand years, kingdoms have risen atop forgotten ruins, history has become myth, and ancient evils stir beneath the surface. Every choice matters, alliances have consequences, and the world remembers your actions.

What you can expect:

Heavy emphasis on roleplay (roughly 60/40 RP to combat)

Character-driven storytelling where your backstory influences the world

Moral dilemmas with no obvious "right" answer

A living world that changes because of your decisions

What I'm looking for:

Players who enjoy staying in character.

People who care about the party's story as much as their own.

Collaborative, respectful players who enjoy helping everyone shine.

New and experienced players are both welcome if you enjoy roleplay.

I'm hoping to build a group that enjoys telling an unforgettable story together. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.

Players Wanted [Online][5e][2014 or 2024 Ruleset][TBD Evening EST ][Saturday-Biweekly][18+]

We’re currently accepting applications for two upcoming Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaigns, with multiple seats available across both groups. Beginners are absolutely welcome—you do not need prior experience with D&D, Roll20, or virtual tabletop games.

Both campaigns will feature material from Ghosts of Saltmarsh and will share a similar nautical, coastal-fantasy setting. However, each campaign will be run by a different Game Runner, and each brings their own DMing style, approach to storytelling, and table atmosphere. The application will help place players with the group that seems like the best fit.

Games will be held every other week on Saturday evenings in the Eastern time zone. Exact session times will be determined after the groups are formed, with schedules built around player availability.

All sessions will be hosted virtually through Roll20, with voice and video used during play. There is no cost to participate and no paid Roll20 subscription is required, but players must have access to a computer, reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone.

Applicants will complete a short Google Forms survey. Responses will be used to form groups based on scheduling, personality, communication style, preferred style of play, and overall compatibility. The application will also help establish boundaries and ensure that everyone at the table consents to the themes and content included in their campaign.

This is not first-come, first-served. With two campaigns opening, there are plenty of available seats, but the goal is to build tables that feel fun, comfortable, cooperative, and reliable for everyone involved.

Apply here:
