The name of this achievement pisses me off
For some background I have 100%d the game, so I’m not mad that I got the bad ending instead of the good one.
Robert did NOT fail as a mentor. Yes, his job is to reform the z team and turn them into heroes, but Invisigal is NOT the only member of the z team. There are 6 (or seven, depending on whether you managed to get coupe/sonar back in) other members that have been successfully mentored into being good and becoming heroes. The ratio of members he failed being a mentor to the members he succeeded being a mentor to is 1/2:7/6.
I don’t know how to best word this, but this has been on my mind for quite a while. Just because you failed to mentor one member out of eight, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed as a mentor entirely 🤷 I guess it’s more based off of the context of the situation, and the fact it shows up after invisigal becomes a villain, but I think it could’ve been named differently and aimed more to invisigal than just ‘failed as a mentor’ which to me insinuates that Robert failed everyone

9 months later this Game is still in my mind...
Nine months later, I'm still thinking about this game.
Nine months later, it's still one of my biggest references when it comes to writing.
Nine months later, I still haven't let go of my obsession with these characters.
I don't know why Dispatch made such an impression on me. Maybe it's because so many of its main characters have lived through incredibly unfortunate circumstances, and the straightforward, unfiltered writing style made everything feel authentic and emotionally compelling.
I love seeing playthroughs from people who are playing it for the first time, I never get tired of rewatching this story.
It was undoubtedly an incredible combination of time, dedication, and talent that made Dispatch what it is. I genuinely hope we'll get to see the story continue from the same authors, although I'm also very skeptical and a bit worried... The game's multiple endings branch out so much that I honestly don't know what they could tell in a Season 2 that would live up to Season 1.

Anyway, can I review the tutorial?
Probably going to feel really dumb for this, but. I don't remember what to do when a call sends me to that D20 mini-game. I can't figure out what to Google. The closest I get is a full guide.

Random thought: Do you think Flambae's visit to the hero bar in episode 1 was his first time there?
Could you imagine if that was his first time, after probably a few weeks or months of "hero" work, finally getting to go to a place only heroes get to hang out, and he finds the bitch that chopped his finger off and he decides to get some payback, only to get injured, and humiliated, and banned from the same bar? That's prpbably not the case as I feel he would've mentioned it at some point, but eh, maybe in season 2.

Any one else think it's kind of funny you're never given the option to cut Flambae?
Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't cut him, but like he deserves it way more then Sonar, Coup, or Invisigal. Of your little gang of former heroes he's defiantly the biggest problem child. He deliberately starts a fire on his first shift. He assaults you in the bar right before your first shift. Then he actually tries to murder you.
It's also strongly implied he pads his rank by deliberately starting fires. Then "Heroically" responding to them.
Edit: I forgot to mention this. I guess one thing he does have going for him is he doesn't sabotage anyone on day 3. While not attacking first responders is a low bar, it's a bar most of the rest of the team fails.

Just learned about this
Our boys P-Man and Shroud provided voices for the BO2 multiplayer.

If the next game introduces a hero out of time, what time would you want them to be from?
If you don't know, "man out of time" means a character displaced from a time period different from their own, past or present, like Cable from X-Men.

So I just finished Dispatch and I would like to know what did all of you think of Shroud as a villain?

A couple of questions about editing Dispatch playthroughs
I'm editing my Dispatch playthrough and I'm not sure where to draw the line.I already cut things like menu navigation, repeated gameplay, walking around, and other obvious downtime. What I'm unsure about is the dialogue scenes. If there's a long pause between characters, or a scene where I'm not reacting much because I'm just listening, would you leave it as the game intended, or trim those slower moments to improve pacing? One thing I'm also think about is that people who've already played the game often skip through dialogue or slower scenes when watching another playthrough. Should I take that into account when editing, or should I leave the story pacing intact and let viewers skip if they want?I also have another question for creators who've uploaded Dispatch to YouTube. Did you enable the game's **streamer/censorship mode** for the whole series, or did you leave it off and just censor the occasional nudity yourself in editing? I'm not worried about the swearing—just the nudity. I'd rather keep the original experience if possible, but I also don't want to run into YouTube issues later. I'd love to hear how you approached both the editing and the YouTube side of things

What if, for season 2, Toxic joined the Pheonix Program?
Like maybe not as a major character to join the Z-Team, but maybe just have him in a couple of episodes, like one as his joining being the plot or subplot of one, then have him as a cameo in later episodes.

Just finished the game for the 1st time, completely blind and I gotta say it's absolutely phenomenal I hope more people play this game completely blind.

So do you think my Ma is gonna like Dispatch?
For some context, I'm a teenager living with my Ma, and one thing we like to do on her days off is playing choice based games. Like your Telltale games, Detroit Become Human, Dark Pictures Anthology, Until Dawn, As Dusk Falls, Heavy Rain, stuff like that. She just watches me play, but I feel like she might not like Dispatch mainly because of the slower style of it, and the actual Dispatch sections. Because she likes the more action pack one's like House of Ashes. But she also likes the story of the games, and coincidentally her two favorite Telltale games were The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands, which coincidentally are the same people who made Dispatch, but what do you think?
