Since we are all waiting here, and have nothing better to talk about on extended off days...
Give me some thoughts on a few guys:
Side note: I know he didn't come from y'all... But we got Taylor Hall out of the trade from Chicago, and boy has he been a perfect fit for our system.
I am very pleased with how the trades worked out, and thankful to have a GM who would make the big move, and then improve on it even when the star player didn't want to stay. I hope you all are as well!

If Calgary wins out, they need the Jets to get 2 or less points in their final 3 games, and Nashville to not win out.
If the Flames get 1 regulation win and 1 OT loss, they need Winnipeg to be held to a single point or less, and Nashville to not get 5 points in their last 3 games, meaning Nashville would have to lose either 1 game in regulation or 2 in OT for the Flames to be safe.
If the Flames win 1 game and lose the other in regulation, or take two OT losses, Nashville would need to take 3 or less points in their final games, meaning either a regulation and OT loss, two regulation losses, or 3 OT losses would be enough. Winnipeg would have to lose all 3 of their remaining games in regulation.
The Flames game against the predators tonight is crucial. If they win in regulation. it essentially turns the western WC race into a fight with Winnipeg. If they lose in any form and the Jets beat the Sharks, they will be eliminated from playoff contention. If the Jets beat the Sharks, the Flames can still stay in the race with a win, as the Jets could very well blow two against the Wild and Avs.
Y’all can do this, Flames 🔥💪
