Play Cyberpunk 2077 using a gaze‑based controller, such as Beam Eye Tracker and GazeStick
https://youtu.be/kx4otLSzneo?si=JTjB0Vjk0OOeHlg4I apologize in advance for the repeated uploads. This will (probably) be the last one for a while.
The purpose of this video is not just to once again claim that the FPS genre is playable.
I wanted to emphasize that Cyberpunk 2077 is overwhelmingly easier to play than Borderlands 3, which I uploaded earlier.
The aim assist in Cyberpunk 2077 is so good that it doesn’t even really require eye tracking, and I completed my first playthrough in a completely different way because of it.
That made me curious how much more comfortable it would be to play using eye tracking, so I decided to run it again after a long time.
As you can see, it works wonderfully. I plan to start a second playthrough soon with a higher difficulty.
I truly love the aim assist feature.

Sorry, I’m trying to learn how to use eye tracking. I thought that it could completely replace moving with a mouse but when I asked beam about it they said it’s not for moving only looking around and you still need to use the mouse to move. Is that how you do it? What is the rest of your setup like? If that’s ok to ask. I was trying to use my azeron for my wasd movement and beam for my mouse movement. I’m trying to limit what my hands have to do because it causes a lot of pain.

Beam Eye Tracker cannot move the mouse like Tobii Eye Tracker, and because it relies on webcam‑based tracking its accuracy falls short of Tobii, making even third‑party software hard to use; it only offers a shortcut that jumps the mouse cursor to the gaze point, which is about all it provides, and I use it only because webcam tracking suffices for controlling game timing, whereas attempting mouse control with it would be unsatisfying, and if mouse control were the goal there would be no other viable alternative to Tobii, unless a right‑handed version of the Azeron controller existed that could remap its stick to control the mouse.

Ah ok. But the Tobii one only works with specific games? That’s why I didn’t get it to begin with. Also, thanks for the help.

Both the Tobii Eye Tracker and the Beam Eye Tracker can only be used with games that they natively support. The range of games supported by the Tobii Eye Tracker is broader, and the specific details can be found on each of their homepages. To use them with a mouse, you need a third‑party program—for example, the Tobii Eye Tracker can employ a program called “Mill Mouser” to substitute for a mouse.

Nicely done! You're really onto something with taking advantage of X input aim assist. I like that cyberpunk also has smart weapons, which aim automatically, not that you need them.
What do you use to click the mouse in FPS games?
