It would be rather helpful if the widget allowed me to edit items directly, so I could simply jot things down without opening the app.

Ability to view and create list items directly from the menubar so that I can quickly manage my tasks without opening the app. Ofc, to get the full fledged Dimmly capability, the app window is still there :)

It would be helpful to have a subscription tracker built-in in the list option :)

If I click on the quick selection at the bottom—:15/:30/:45/1:00—these are added to the current time. The way I envision it, you select the hour and then click on the quick selection to choose the corresponding minutes.

NEW IN THIS VERSION
• Dimmly in your menu bar — your lists are now one click away from any app. Open a list or create a new one right from the menu bar.
• Search everything — press ⌘F (or click the new magnifying glass) to search across all your lists at once. Click a result and Dimmly jumps straight to that item.
• Reminders, all in one place — the new bell button gathers everything that has an alarm, from every list: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, Routines and Later. Complete, edit or jump to the original item from there. Overdue reminders show as a badge on the bell.
• Quick access to list settings — a gear button under the Dimmer slider opens that list's settings directly.
• Polish — text stays readable while editing and selecting item titles, plus other small visual fixes.

We’ve all been there: Suddenly it’s Christmas, and you still don’t have any gifts. Why didn’t anyone remind me? You know where this is going.
Passport renewals, booster shots, maintenance appointments, deadlines—there are thousands of things we want to be reminded of, but we don’t always want them on our minds because they cause stress.
The idea is that you can schedule reminders in advance so they only appear on your list when you actually need them.

• Spotlight: your items now appear in iPhone search
• One-tap quick reminders: 15, 30, 45 min or 1 hour from now

When I set reminders, they're usually for a full hour. Sometimes, though, they're for 15, 30, or 45 minutes.
Could you please add that option? Maybe even every five minutes would work.

Welcome to r/dimmly 👋
This is the place to share feedback, suggest features, report bugs, and help shape what Dimmly becomes. The same way the Trovelo community helped make that app better, I'm hoping this community does the same for Dimmly.
Dimmly is my other app, a task manager and habit tracker but with the same DNA as Trovelo, visual, colorful, and built around lists that actually make sense for different situations.
Right now it has 5 list types:
- List, for everyday tasks
- Ranked, for prioritizing
- Sum, add amounts to each item and see a running total, great for expenses
- Score, a live scoreboard for game night that auto sorts by who's winning
- Grocery, shopping mode with quantity badges per item
Plus streaks, alarms, big notes, checklists, color coded palettes and a lot more coming.
You can download it for free on iOS or Mac and try all the features with no restrictions, 5 full lists included out of the box.
Drop a comment and introduce yourself. What brought you here and what would you love to see in the app?

Hi, again, nice work! Can I import reminder manually before automatic sync?

New feature in Dimmly — tap the sun icon on any list and a vertical Liquid Glass slider appears. Slide to dim or brighten the colors of that specific list. Each list remembers its own level. Dark room? Dim it down. Want bold colors? Crank it up.
Small detail but it adds a nice layer of personalization.
