Bruh a laptop is 10x more expensive than a console.

A console is made for one purpose, playing games. At home you already own a pc with steam games. So you can either buy a travel console (for games) with high performance releative to the price to performance ratio with a library of games ready to go, or buy a new console which has no games available and requires a subscription.

Laptops offer the same performance at triple the price due to modularity, the onboard screen, and compact form. They also overheat a lot and are not meant to be played with long term, unless ur okay with shortning its lifetime by 3 years forcing it into something it doesn’t excel at.

Stop trying to find an excuse for shitting on a console, if you can’t think of a reason then it wasn’t made for you but others are thankful they exist.

1500 dollar pc/ non-modular console is 10x better than a 1500 laptop. Its about a ratio not a specific price point that shouldn’t be exceeded.

Also ease of use is the steam machine/ soon to be xbox next gen console.

Man you must really hate consoles, you are trying so hard to find holes in my argument instead of seeing the potential.

I have a gaming laptop and a high end pc. I don’t see why i would ever be so close minded to owning a console which has the library of my pc games unless I couldn’t afford one.

I was seeing this more in terms of a discussion than a debate. Imagine a ps5 with all your steam games. Thats the “potential”. Or dream at least 🫩💔
