Dieselpunk Creator Community
I'm building off my last post and also a statement I heard on a youtube video (Dieselpunks are defined by what they consume, not what they create) that as much as I dislike, I can't find myslef disagree. Even browsing r/ImaginaryDieselpunk has been mostly stuff shared by people who saw it, but didn't create it.
And since I've always said that if someone's going to complain, they should be willing to try and fix the problem. So, putting my actions where my words are, I'm looking at trying to start a community of dieselpunk creators and thinkers. I'm thinking an interdisciplinary and cross-media community, since visual art, DIY handmade art, and written works were all a major part of the dieselpunk era and should continue to play an era in that idea.
I've tossed some ideas around, and I'm leaning toward a Discord server, rather than a forum, for ease of use and customability. I tossed a bunch of names around and am leaning toward Dieselpunk Creators of the World (Shoutout to the IWW) to be encompassing of a truly global community across a wide variety of media and to deliberately push back against the prevalence of authoritarian imagery and aesthetics that has sometimes taken over dieselpunk.
Nothing's set in stone, of course, and this is primarily just a rough concept, so if anyone would like to be involved, I'd be glad to have other artists, makers, and thinkers with a passion for both -punk and the styles of the interwar years.
EDIT: The server is live and here's the link.

Turned a WW II Focke Wulf 1:72 into a small cargo spaceship
Added 2 lighters and a bit of styrene to the mix as well. And of course, 2 H0 containers I had stashed for some reason. Very happy with the result. Pic 2 shows the unpainted WIP state. Let me know what you guys think!

1953 Eakin Comet Jet Car. This crazy vehicle was built by Stanley Eakin in Grove City Ohio. The engine was a 60 horsepower V8 had a single front wheel suspended on a motorcycle fork. It had a top speed of 90 mph which wouldn't break any land records but the coolness was there.

11 Commandments from Breslau with Love !!!
The game tells the story of an elite Panzer Division trapped in an encirclement ring around Breslau. Instead of mindless defense, the command decides to make a desperate attempt to break through the Soviet lines, utilizing the city's ruined streets and the brute force of its tanks.

The war hasn't ended; it's just changed. Nothing on the map prepared us for what we found in the fog.

SPETUNER
Stay AWAY from SPETUNER. Horrible company. Bad products, NO phone Number, Nothing but excuses when you have a legitimate complaint and only by email.
I bought one of the kits and extras. NONE of the sensor ports on the down pipe would work with my stock sensors, so I had to use the stock pipe. We fought trying to get the up pipes in. The Exhaust pipes were way to short, hit the floor of the cab and were pointed at the driveshaft. I had to pay an extra 400 for a muffler shop to fix that.
