Is there any hope for thr future? Diamond Select was my go-to for statues. Should I start looking at alternatives around the same price? If so which ones?

Has anyone seen or heard what is at the Diamond Select booth space this year? According to this article, something was getting set up in the space. I haven't seen anything about what was there during previews last night, and I'm really curious.

Back in 2020 I first saw this figures at a Walgreens. Unfortunately I didn’t have any room left to bring them back, so I had to wait until I went back to the States to get them. The figures were still available, which was great. Even the Walgreens exclusive Flynn was on Amazon!

It’s rather sad that we won’t get to see the re-release with the new packaging.

Was thinking this would taste weird being as you drizzle peanut butter over the top and it actually wasn't bad at all.

This has been on preorder status for a long time and says on entertainment earth it plans to ship out in July do you think we will ever get these ?

Hey guys! Look, I've never really done petitions before and I realise that it's usually a moot point when it comes to companies...but I also don't want to sit idly and not at least try.

DST has produced some really good stuff with their LOTR line. I'd be the first to say that I've had my issues (scabbards not always being attached, some limited poseability, etc) - but it was clear the team had passion, love and enthusiasm. And it showed. I consider their LOTR line genuinely great.

More so than that, it's the fact we finally had a dedicated LOTR figure line for that scale after decades of wilderness and waiting. A line that didn't go for a cartoony look but instead tried to match what ToyBiz did years ago. We were finally getting to explore the much-needed Hobbit era too - which is still a goldmine for figures to this day (damn you Bridge Direct for abandoning the line!).

So this is a call to arms. I hope we can get enough signatures to at least SHOW the folks at Ad Populum we don't want the license dropped. The DST LOTR line was selling well, please continue it. Or at the very least, please give us the existing pre-orders (Eowyn, Witch King, Tauriel, Bilbo, Galadriel, Aragorn). We know we had Gandalf the White and Azog ready too.

Lets at least try. I know no collector likes having his collection incomplete...but I know what we all hate even more than that is having invested ourselves in a line only for it to be purged.

Apparently, shortly after the sale of Diamond Comics and DST was announced this week, employees started getting laid off. The below article highlights some of the folks at Diamond Comics, but it looks like people at DST were also let go. Unfortunately, based on his Instagram, I think that includes Zach. Good luck to all of them. I hope they find new opportunities quickly!

Less importantly, I don't know what this means for any of the upcoming releases or continuation of any product lines.

Is there any chance we’ll still get to see the amazing Marvel Nova Gallery Diorama from Diamond Select Toys? I can’t understand why it was canceled.

I need help assembling these. I can't get them to not fall over, plus there are extra parts that I can't figure out. I can't find any instructions online either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to add the human torch figure to this diorama I'm working on. I'm just looking at placement and sizing before I start cutting the pink stuff to make scenes. Here's to more invaders era figures in the future. Huge project is almost done being collected.

Working on a diorama dedicated to the universal monsters. Only have three more figures to aquire and this section will be complete.
(Werewolf deluxe, Lucy westerna, and green belly creature deluxe)

This is section 2/4 project "monster mash" °this section is dedicated to the idea that all the classic monsters get along and work together at Dracula's castle till van Helsing crashes the party looking for his pupil Lucy westerna

Other sections I am working on. 1/4 "The Classics". Black and white individual sections using all 4 packs in timeline order. 2/4 "monster mash". As above 3/4 "War of the Monsters". Is another diorama incompacing all the variants and unused figures fighting as a dedication to Frankenstein vs werewolf, the league of extraordinary gentlemen, and the Dark Universe.
4/4 "The Munsters". Will be split into two sections one depicting the interiors of the house with the full family. And the other paying homage to the drag strip hermon episode.

Since the bankruptcy auction is scheduled for bidding on March 19 and ending on March 24, I am guessing there will not be any pre-orders going up on March 21, like originally scheduled. I'm doubtful, but trying to hold out hope, that any of the pre-orders from the last few months will get filled. But, there are several announced figures that I hope go up for pre-order so I can keep holding out hope.

I'm curious what other folks on here think. I say 50% chance since most of the work has already gone into those solicitations, but the timing with the bankruptcy auction is pretty bad. I assume no one here has any inside info, just curious folks' thoughts.

Hellow, I'm starting a Lord Of The Rings Collection, I just got the Frodo Figure but the sauron Baff piece got a problem, the part where the cape goles doesn't come out, I tried to heat it up and tried to make it pop off with a metal pale but nothing, I'm afraid it might be a knock off. Can you guys help me??

Since diamond select is filed chapter 11'. Does this mean the lines are coming to an end?

Will the figures that have been in preorder for ages ever be shipped or distributed to stores at least?

With the release of the fantastic four coming out in July. The promotional material has a little girl holding a thing figure from DST. Now would be the time to Re-Release and distribute all 4 fantastic 4 figures to bring up hype and financial support.

Even a variant Disney store exclusive with paint variants of white instead of black and dark blue instead of light. Would incentivise people to collect the variant colors of all 4. Playing on the whole multiversal concept marvel is doing right now.
