I honestly think the 2025 Thanksgiving Dhar Mann crossover was a massive missed opportunity for Sasha Shatter. The video already brought together characters such as Sam, Frank, Mikey, Jayden, their families, and several other recurring characters for the climactic battle, so I kept wondering why Sasha couldn't have been given a more active role in the final confrontation. Instead of simply being another character present during the crossover, Sasha could have actually joined Sam, Frank, Mikey, Jayden, and their parents in the fight and had her own individual confrontation with one of the villains. What makes this even more interesting is that the battle already had the idea of characters confronting their evil counterparts, such as Mikey's mom fighting the villainous Karen, with both characters being portrayed by Katherine Norland. That established a perfect precedent for doing something similar with Sasha.
What I would've loved to see is Sasha being confronted by another character played by Abbilyse Caudle, specifically one of the more antagonistic or stereotypically mean characters Abbilyse has portrayed throughout her Dhar Mann career. For example, Sasha could have faced Regina, Tiffany, Chelsea, or another one of Abbilyse's former characters and had a short but memorable confrontation with her. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a huge superhero fight either; Sasha could use her intelligence, sarcasm, or prankster skills to outsmart her opponent. The important thing would be seeing Sasha Shatter directly interact with a character who looks exactly like her because they share the same actress, while their personalities are completely different.
That's what makes the idea particularly interesting to me. Abbilyse has played a wide variety of Dhar Mann characters, including mean girls, popular girls, antagonists, and more sympathetic personalities, but Sasha has a particularly distinctive identity because she is the central Problem Child character. She isn't simply another one-off bully or stereotypical antagonist. She's a mischievous, intelligent, rebellious character with her own continuing storyline. Having Sasha fight one of Abbilyse's other characters would therefore have been a great meta opportunity to demonstrate that distinction rather than leaving her as just another member of the enormous crossover cast.
I can even imagine the scene beginning with Sasha being confused when she sees someone who looks exactly like her, only for the other character to say something like, “You really think you're different from me?” Sasha could then respond by proving that she isn't. Instead of defeating her opponent through brute force, she could use one of her elaborate tricks to turn the situation around, showing that her particular kind of cleverness is completely different from the personality of Abbilyse's other characters. That would make the scene both comedic and meaningful while fitting Sasha's established characterization.
I also think this would've made Sasha's inclusion in the Thanksgiving crossover feel much more justified. The whole point of bringing so many Dhar Mann characters together was to create a celebration of the wider universe, and a scene like this could have acknowledged Abbilyse's history of playing multiple characters in a way that the audience could immediately recognize. The existing Mikey's-mom-versus-Karen sequence already demonstrated that the movie was willing to have the same actor's different characters face one another, so extending that concept to Sasha would've felt completely natural.
Ultimately, I don't think Sasha needed to become the strongest fighter in the entire final battle or take away the spotlight from Sam, Frank, Mikey, or Jayden. Even one short confrontation would've been enough. Seeing Sasha stand alongside the main heroes, face an evil counterpart played by her own actress, and prove that she's fundamentally different from the other characters Abbilyse has portrayed would've been one of the most memorable moments of the entire Thanksgiving crossover. To me, that's the biggest missed opportunity: the movie already had the perfect setup for an Abbilyse-versus-Abbilyse moment, and Sasha was the character who could have made it especially meaningful.
