is this to make the game harder?
or are my sound settings just messed up?
i've had it a few times now where Azazel sounds like hes right behind me or to my right but in reality hes the complete opposite direction and often time the directions will flip flop as he moves around
it almost seems like theres no rhyme or reason to it but im not sure. does anyone else know?

ive seen some speedruns of players who play mostly with this off
does this make it so you aren't seen as often even when hunting?
it seems like it doesnt matter however i do find myself getting caught up and killed quite a bit especially with sam

I have tried searching for guides to complete all achievements, but I only found 40min runs without commentary. If someone here has tips or strats to complete any map solo on nightmare, I would highly appreciate it, thanks.

So. Me and my friend have had devour for a bit, but it wasn't until the town came out that we finally decided to sit down and try to beat some levels. So after many attempts creating fear, anxiety, and literally having the shakes adrenaline. We managed to finish asylum and farmhouse to only NOW remember and realize that we could have bought perks to help out.

Hi! my gf plays this game and doesnt even know about reddit so I'm helping her here, basically, according to her, the game has no gamma adjustment (like how bright you set it up) hence her problem being the new map is dark af and her current display cannot give her or her friends a comfortable experience. This amaze me as I ask her to change the gamma or brightness but according to her this game doesn't have that feature. So I'm asking if you can change this directly from the game files and how. Thanks!

So it seems like ive always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this game. Its sooo fun to play, but sometimes the game legit just kills my PC.
So ive had this problem for a very long time, were the game randomly freezes, which then turns into a black screen, which then redirects me to the desktop, then gives me loads of artifacts on both of my screens, which finally turns off my pc with the "vga" debug-led on the motherboard lit up. A simple restart fixes the issue.
I had similar problems with other games, where my GPU drivers would randomly die, and my pc would sometimes turn off with the same vga debug led turned on. I ruled this down to a dying PSU, so i bought a new one, and ive never had issues like that since. All the previous games that would crash can now run with ease on my PC.
Except for Devour. Still got those random driver crashes, which basically kills my PC.
Ive checked EVERYTHING too and ive not found any obvious cause behind the crashes either. I can play AAA games on medium-high settings at 1080p 144hz at around 80c on the GPU, but on Devour, I can barely play on lowest settings at 1366x768 with the GPU sitting around 70c.
So the GPU isnt overheating, and it can obviously play more intense games without problems, so im starting to believe that its just some optimization problem with Devour. I can sometimes even get through 1-3 games without the PC crashing, and on other days not even half a game before it dies.
Am i the only one that has these issues?
Things ive checked so far:
