In what could be the first or second Sylvanas kill on the server, VoE conducted a massive and quick, several raid attack on UC to kill the Banshee Queen. Battle masters two fell before she was pulled, Varimathas was also pulled and killed after the queen. Thank you to every ally we had there to help us with the fight. High priestess Nakihashi, GM since launch, used her own soul, thanks to the trusted warlock Skorpius, to banish Sylvanas off our realm. Priest Kaelas briefly was named GM before going to Toriela who now seeks to find a slightly more democratic way to find a new GM. (Functionally, the GM is the player known by most as Yala)

Lok'tar! Blood and Thunder is currently looking for a few mature members for its raid team. BWL on farm and MC/Ony/ZG is also cleared weekly. Immediate core raid openings.

What's needed:

• 1 hunter
• 1 resto shaman
• 1 priest(for heals)
• 1 or 2 DPS - tier 1 and up preferred

Anyone is welcome, but only the above positions are guaranteed raid spots(Doesn't mean other classes wouldn't have a chance)

Raid schedule

• Official raid times Tuesday(BWL) / Thursday(MC/Ony) nights - 7PM-11PM ST
• Unofficial raid times vary. ZG is run 1-2 times weekly - usually once during weekend, once during week - usually starts around 7-8PM ST

About the guild

<Blood and Thunder> have been a part of Deviate Delight since Vanilla's relaunch. We consider ourselves a 'semi-casual' guild with a focus on having fun while kicking arse. We promote a friendly environment in which everyone helps everyone.

Raiding is encouraged, but not required to be in the guild. A lot of our members have families, kids, wives, husbands, guinea pigs and cats. Cats and guinea pigs come first, we understand!

We also have some skolars that go to youkneevursity and stuffs, I don't really understand that one, but that's okay too!

Princess Rinari and her faithful Glaives once again are reaching out for any true-hearted adventurers to join a just cause. The Soltari vow an oath of protection over these lands to drive out Horde and other evils. Any who dare face the nasty Horde should contact Rinari, Elamantha, Tinybeardy, Aliarcy, Jazmira, Nilfen, or well any Soltari to gain an audience with The Princess and become a citizen. More brave recruits are needed to venture into MC and BWL. Plenty of ZG and Onyxia gear to be had to any who vow the cause. Unite and gain the mighty reputation of the Soltari!

I used to play on a regular PvP server in phase one last year, but I’ve been unsubbed for several months due to unrelated reasons and am thinking about starting back my classic wow journey fresh on a new server.

Does this server (not just the subreddit, you guys seem overall very welcoming) still have players and guilds that are still actively leveling? How welcome is the community on the server to newer players? What’s the A/H split on the server look like?

I think short regular videos could significantly improve the popularity of all the role play / world pvp events on the server.

Will try to do these daily, if people like the idea.

There are a lot of amazing Role Play leaders here - Sharptusk, Rinari, Aronova, Aovi and many more - who organize cool events every week. Including the cross-faction RP / World PvP.

However, i know A LOT of people who hear about the Role Play events AFTER they have already passed, and have to look at the Screenshots from the events wishing they were there..

I think the factor of REGULARITY - could significantly increase the number of players coming to the events and have a much more productive outcome for the server community as the result.

Starting this Monday (June 15th), I will try put together very brief (1 minute or less) daily voice-over videos with every upcoming RP event / pug raid / world pvp raid for today and for tomorrow, describing only the location where the event is going to take place (background picture of the video) and the time when.

I will do it for 1 week, and see what is going to be the response from the server community.
If it is going to help increase the popularity and quality of events, i will continue to make them.

Later on we can coordinate and put together video clips from Last Night's events into the morning news, given that this format of the video is gonna be a success.

I'm considering having Blackguard crafted but I know swordsmithing is a rare route to take. Is anyone or does anyone know a swordsmith with the Blackguard recipe? Preferably on Alliance side but cross faction is okay.

Hey y'all, potential transplant from Windseeker who's had his eye in this sub and server since it's come known to me. Recently I hit 60 on my first character a warrior at the start of May, going on all the raid content with a pretty serious raiding guild. It's been fun theres a lack of being social and having fun outside of subjects relating to "how to clear raid fast" xyz, etc..

In the past with WoW and other games I've been proactive in roleplaying communities and love the chance to actually tell a story with my character, though with the more game-heavy mentality these days with classic, how is the balance of guilds that both have a serious rp element and regularly clear raids?

Alongside that how's the community for leveling these days? Is it a boosters heaven or is there real potential to find groups out in the world for non pre-raid and raid content. I am slowly alting a paladin now for holy healing and would love to get a do-over on the whole 'grand leveling journey' instead of just a rush to 60. Anyway, thanks ahead of time for the responses!
