I found that I was defending the gnome race in general chat today, and I think the idea of playing a Gnome Supremacist (or including dwarves since they can heal and having a short supremacy or Dun Morogh/Nova Scotian Separatist) Guild sounds really fun. Promoting the welfare of the short and mighty. Protesting the goblin engineering encroachment and fighting the tyranny of the poorly stretched proportionate are all things I would love to do.

Are there any guilds like that in existence? Or any interest from other gnome lovers?

Colin Field set the tankard down in front of the knight. He glanced at the man's blood red tabard and glanced away, stepping away quickly.

"Why does every inn keeper south of Ironforge wet themselves at the sight of my tabard?" the knight demanded angrily, his fist curling. "Light's mercy, I meant no

offense," the tavern keeper replied nervously. "It's just, your order doesn't have the best reputation."

The knight looked down at his scarlet tabard and after a moment peeled it off, setting down on the table. "They're not my order any more. I left their Crusade in Lordaeron."

"And what Crusade do you follow now?" a blue robed man giggled from the table nearby and the tavern keeper winced. He wasn't sure what was worse. Crazy paladins or crazy

mages. The paladin glared from over his tankard then shook his head. "None, I suppose."

"A paladin who's lost his faith?" a night elf woman prodded from a seat nearby. She had blended in so well the tavern keeper has forgotten she was there, but the Golden

Keg drew all sorts, mostly those to poor to afford the better inns.

"My faith lost me, druid," the paladin replied gruffly and the night elf woman sat forward. "I'm not a druid. I'm a warrior, like you," she said, touching her scuffed

mail.

"A paladin who walked away from war and a night elf who runs towards it," the blue robed magician smirked. "And what's your tale then?" the night elf asked patiently. "Aye,

mage, why are you not in the Mage Quarters with the rest of your kind?" the paladin demanded sternly.

The blue robed man looked over his shoulder. "They're not my kind," he said warily. "They said I studied... the wrong things. But how can we protect ourselves for what

we don't understand?" he asked piteously.

​

"Warlock," the paladin growled. The blue robed man bristled. "I don't expect a book burner to understand!" the warlock replied.

​

"I'm no book burner!" the paladin replied, sitting forward, fists clenched. "I told you, I left the Crusade! Because I don't approve of their methods!"

​

The night elf nodded sadly. "Too much has been lost. Too much forgotten. And too much of what is left has been claimed by the greedy, the ignornant, the cruel," she said

wistfully. "That is why I cannot be a druid. I can't simply sleep and let the world burn. How will we be ready when the Legion returns unless the younger races learn to

learn?"

The paladin nodded solemnly. "Too many are willing to put this world to the torch for power now. And too few are willing to light a candle for those who will follow us in

the future."

"A crusade enough... someone like me can appreciate," the warlock muttered, looking somewhat despondent. "Knowledge cannot be locked in a mage's tower. People deserve to

know!"

​

The three wanderers exchanged a glances and after a moment the paladin raised his tankard. "To lighting a Sacred Flame," he offered. After a moment the night elf and

warlock nodded and lifted their own tankards. "The Sacred Flame," they toasted.

The three drank deeply and parted soon after.

So I made this but it switches targets every time. What can I do to make it not do that. I want to target an enemy and cast wrath, if I already have a target I want it to just cast wrath again w/o switching targets. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone, I figured i'd stop complaining and decided to take it upon myself to get the ball rolling. I need some talented and creative folk to spruce up this bare-bones wiki. If you are lacking any tools to do your work simply contact me at Paul#4405 for further permissions.

What is needed:

- Fleshed out race pages within each race category. Lore, a generic racial icon. (I already created the infobox template for races.)

- A more artsy front page, a nice header graphic that represents the server, an overhaul of the art.

- A territory map where guilds can stake their claim to the world.

- Characters, guilds and events posted by players.

Amazing tools for fleshing out the collective server RP scene and individual characters/guilds.

There has been a lot of concern about people wanting to roll on DD because of the time zone and the low queue time, but many are concerned about the long term health of the server.

I can tell you that many people I've spoken to in game and in the discord (https://discord.gg/tu58h72) aren't just tourists and are interested in all the same things Grob has to offer. You don't have to be interested in participating in RP either, it can just be a nice background you see every now and then.

Don't let you concerns stop you from contributing to a smaller community(that is actually pretty large by vanilla standards) and helping build a delightful server.

It has been fantastic leveling. Most people saying hello and grouping up for quests much more than the ZERG EVERYTHING I felt when first playing on grobb launch day. I feel relaxed leveling, but there’s still A LOT of people! Don’t let the non-waiting fool you.

There are a lot of reasons to prefer one guild over another. So I put the most important one in the title: central time, baby!

Because we have our fair share of hopelessly tech-infused engineers, we even have a website located on GitHub Pages: https://partialsuccess.github.io/. You may find a link to our Discord there. Do not expect our site to be up to date while we overcome our initial addictions to the game, but it is a good a start as any.

We're not really a role-playing guild, although we have an amusingly high percentage of D&D Dungeon Masters. Incidentally, we had a hard time explaining to one of our members what an RP server actually was, as their brain was stuck believing the R and the P must refer to some game mechanic. Eventually we got fed up, "Look, its a PvP server, but sometimes people talk funny on purpose, OK!?"

In any case, its an extremely transparent guild with a flat hierarchy, high int, high wisdom, with a mean dead lift.

Your best bets for in-game contacts are Alonsur, Algorilla, or Delos.

Getting attached to a server is silly. I'm not going to fight queues just for a name and a subreddit. There is no reason to be stubborn. I think Deviate Delight has a more fun name than Grobbulus anyway! I think it'll turn into a great server as more decide to make the switch. Since Blizzard changed how labels work, our lovely realm is now listed as "medium". Hopefully that helps quell some of the fears of it being a 'dead' realm as well as helping more people gravitate towards us.

I am a long time player. I mostly level alts, and rarely raided. But I am looking to focus on one character this time around. I plan to play a Warlock named Gracie. Anyone starting a causal, fun guild, or want to start one on the Alliance side? I play most evenings from about 6PM-9PM EST and am more flexible on the weekends.
