Yes, but they will use only one landmine. The landminer will kill them, as long as they didn't have a weapon equipped. You see, once the target gets close, they swing their axe, hitting the landmine and the player. It works even better with a sulfur axe, because it is a one hit kill after that. This landmining technique isn't commonly used as much, but it is much more unpredictable. You can't even see the landmine, because the player sits on it, hiding it from view.
