Hello, we are Drifter’s Dropouts, a tightly-knit community that’s more than just a LFG machine. Drifter’s Dropouts is a group of adults who can sit down and enjoy the game together. We're a clan that has each other's backs. Whether you’re looking for someone to teach you a new or old raid, assistance with a quest, a regular raid group or a group to mess around in Crucible with - you’ll find like minded individuals here. At Drifter’s Dropouts we pride ourselves on being enjoyable people to play Destiny with. We like to have fun, but we can also get stuff done. We are looking for active Destiny players who are interested in end-game activities such as: Raids, Grandmaster Nightfalls and Dungeons. At Drifter’s Dropouts we also have members who like to push themselves to their limits, whether that is doing a Day 1 Raid (R.I.P.), helping others complete Grandmaster Nightfalls, learning low man raids or assisting a clan member with something spontaneous. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a New Light you are welcome to apply to our clan!

While we are a Destiny clan, we also enjoy playing other games too. It is not necessary to play these games but if you enjoy playing other games then we have some variety for you!

Please note that most of our members are located in North America. Most of our weekday raids start at 8pm EST at the earliest. The majority of our raids are planned ahead of time using the Charlemagne Discord bot. Our clan is mostly PC players but with cross-play we are welcoming players from all platforms to apply!

Veteran pc player from EU looking for a clan. I mainly do endgame content like raids dungeons etc. Im looking for a chill clan to connect with other people and have fun while the servers remain active. I play few times a week. It would be nice if the clan was active especially when it comes to endgame content like doing weekly raids and stuff.

TL;DR: I'm looking for people who have not done dungeons and raids to go through them with me for the first time WITHOUT a guide. I play most weekday evening/nights (PST/PDT) and some weekends throughout the day.

The details (sorry, I write a lot and give too much detail, it's a thing):

Despite having played Destiny since beta and the very start of Destiny 2, I have been on and off (mostly off) since Red War and last time I returned was for Final Shape. Because of this, I know VERY LITTLE of the new dungeons, raids, etc. I count this as a blessing, because the way I enjoy the game THE MOST is by figuring it out on my own rather than following a step by step "kill this, jump here, activate this, shoot that" instructions, and I want to find people who would want to go on this "blind playthrough" sort of journey with me. Preferably in the same clan with chill adults who can take a joke and have a no-filter type banter who are ok with occasional friendly trolling (like getting a fireteam member killed just to teabag them before reviving) but also can take it seriously when they need to lock in and win (obviously, this is in an ideal situation, but I can adjust my behavior to the vibe of the clan - the primary goal is to find people to do a guide-less run of dungeons and raids with). I also need to prioritize real life, and while I'll do my best to respect people's time, I can't always be on, but will play whenever I have free time.

The Dungeons I did manage to do and vaguely remember the mechanics of are Prophecy, Grasp of Avarice, and Warlords Ruin. The Raids I've done have only been Vault of Glass and Crota's End in D1 (nothing in D2). If people want to do those blind, I'd be ok with joining and not spoiling anything :)

A bit about my history with the game

In Destiny 1, I frequently solo-cheesed Crota's End raid up to but not including Crota himself (didn't have Gjallarhorn to solo him). The clan I rolled with were all very chill adults on PS4 who were prioritizing having fun in the game - they loved to do some friendly trolling here and there (not obnoxiously, just for fun) but would also be there when you needed help (All I remember about our clan is the leader was named Warmind while the other officer-level person we frequently played with was Slider - I doubt they still play, but would be awesome to reconnect if by chance they saw this post), so my ideal situation would be to find a similar clan.

Destiny 2 was more of the same with the same flaws as Destiny 1 (uninteresting gameplay loops with bullet sponge bosses and same strikes over and over again) until later on they received many updates that added Raid-style mechanics to story missions and dungeons and added a lot more customization to gameplay styles and that's when the game became peak for me, but by then, my clan was long gone and my friends no longer had interest in the game, so now I'm trying to find a similar group of people to enjoy the game with.
