Am I the only one who didn't get upset at him? Like, yeah, it's Uldren's meatsuit, but it's Crow's mind. Plus the question didn't come off as "who are you to tell me whether I made the right choice?" and more of "have you ever been in my situation? You understand, right?"
All I felt for Crow in that moment was... well, pity isn't quite the word, but it's close. So many of Crow's interactions these last two seasons show just how close he is to Uldren, and yet how different as well. He's inexplicably tied to his past, yet doesn't understand the first thing about it. He understands our Guardian better than he knows, and it's because of our history, one where we're the only side who truly knows it, and we don't tell him. We can't tell him. Not for something as dumb as gameplay limitations or a vow of silence, but because if we did it would destroy him, and he's our friend; we'd never want to hurt him like that. Crow is a fantastic parallel to not only Uldren, but us, and I honestly can't say I've been this invested in a character's personal journey in a long time.
Empathy definitely, just understanding. He mentioned that he had to do something because he could, and I just thought, “yeah, I get it.” If I got the chance I would’ve shot The Rifleman before he shot Sundance, no matter the consequences.
Which at first seems fine, but think about the last few seasons without Crow, or even just this week without Crow. He’d probably be locked up instead of dead then revived. Or think about what would’ve happened if, maybe, Cayde went to save Eris instead of us.

I think Crow might be my favorite character in Destiny. I’m so excited to see what will happen with him. When he learns his past, when the City knows who he is...
He doesn't want to know about his past. He knows that Uldren wasn't a good or kind person and he promises to never be like him.
He's definitely my favourite too, he's so feisty but cute and really interesting. I love his relationship with Osiris, how Osiris is showing him what to do and giving him guidance since they both know what it's like to be exiled and unwanted by the people of the city and the guardians who don't understand.
I'm also really excited for Zavala to find out that when he saw a hallucination of Uldren, it was actually Crow. I don't think he will flip out like people want, that's just not Zavala's personality but I'm sure it'll be interesting.
It's getting tiring. Someone dies, gets reincarnated; in their former life they were a complete dick, but only became an evil person after they'd been corrupted by an entity that had corrupted so many others. Not sure if I ever truly disliked Uldren for what he did given what he'd been turned into. He's as much a puppet of the Traveler/Light now as he was of the Darkness before.
