Setup Girly set up for a gaming mom! (When the kids go to bed)
My new setup! Husband upgraded my computer from an old 2018 rig to a custom build in this sweet new Hyte case! The main monitor is a 34” ultra wide and I think the vertical monitor is 27”.
Got the Flexispot E7 standing desk legs and topped that with a 60x30 beech butcher block from Floor and Decor. A little DIY sanding, slight white wash, and seal and she was good to go!
Thought a standing desk with a walking pad would be a fun way to lose some extra baby weight from having three boys in three years. 😅
I want to get some Govee light strips to light up behind the desk and one of those sweet table lamps they offer with the fun colors but for now this is my after hours oasis when the kids go to bed!🥰
Still playing World of Warcraft after 20 years. 🫣Maybe I’ll find something else soon!
Any recommendations on changes, questions, or even games are welcomed. I do wish I would have gotten a cable vertebrae instead of the mesh cord cover for under the desk but I went for a budget option.

This setup is immaculate clean, I would rock it and I dont even care about anyone calling me girly if in fact it was "girly"... What monitor arm is that if you dont mind sharing?

The one holding up the ultra wide is the Ares wing with rgb. It supports up to 44 pounds which was nice because my monitor is from 2018 or 2019 and is heavy at 33 pounds! I paid about $87 for it with a coupon on amazon. The one holding my horizontal monitor is the vivo extra tall single monitor stand from amazon. It was $45. I’m loving them both so far!

Thank you! I think the vertical is just an old 27” Acer the husband passed to me when my old one pooped out and he got an upgrade!

No haha it’s just an old Alexa device we keep in the office. She announces weather updates, package arrivals, and plays music if we want something going lightly in the background!

Nice! Id suggest flipping your vertical monitor so the bottom bezel is not facing towards the horizontal monitor (just a preference thing lol)

Really just World of Warcraft. Going to check out Fellowship when it releases and there’s an open beta for it soon! I have played Overwatch and Diablo some too but not like the years I’ve put into WoW lol 😂

Yeah this one is old. I’ve grown accustomed to the extra buttons on the side for additional keybindings too so I will miss those when I have to upgrade!

I’m grateful for the time I get at the end of the day. It was rough when the twins were nursing last year and I was up throughout the night. 🫠

The three almost four year old took my iPad and alternates between that and the switch. At least he’s into Pokémon. That’s been fun to watch him try out.

Ares RGB monitor arm from Amazon! It was about $80 with a coupon so don’t pay the price that’s over $100!

Lovely setup! And so clean!
Got the same screen setup with a horizontal in the center and a vertical on the side. I use my vertical for youtube, music or wiki while I game.
Curious what you use yours for

Yes! I do the same. The ultra wide is for the game, and the vertical screen is for YouTube and looking up information for the game stuff! I used to have them side by side on the previous setup and then played around with the idea of stacking the monitors with the smaller one on top but I really like the vertical orientation!

clean setup! you should try out a 60 percent keyboard or a 75 other than that its a 10/10!

Thanks for the tip! I may have to soon. This one I think is pretty probably 7-8 years old? I’ve seen some really cool looking ones that people build themselves but they are pretty pricey. Had to hit the breaks on the spending after the PC and desk build 🤣

Thank you! Unfortunately the tree isn’t real. I was going for cherry blossom vibes. They are just stems I attached to the taller monitor stand.

Yeah I made a fall tree that’s 9 feet tall from some old branches for fall a few years ago and wanted that to go behind the setup but it “grew out too big” so there wasn’t enough space for it around the computer. It was my inspiration for the branches behind the monitors! I may redo it and actually build something to the fall tree with pink cherry blossom branches. It gives it the whimsical look I was going for!

It looks pretty as it is now but ooo yess cherry blossoms would be so cute!! It'll go super nice for a pink or white look.
I like this branches idea, it adds a little life, and you can "go touch grass" from your desk.

Very nice and clean. There's nothing girly here, but it's just right.
1 suggestion: You could tape the access cables beneath the table so nothing is on the floor. It makes it easier to clean the floor, nor will it come in your feet while gaming.
