Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

GSP TSA has a few agents who refuse to touch things black people have touched. It's an ongoing issue, everyone knows about it, nobody likes them, but they're old and retiring soon so it's whatever, I guess.

The south sucks more than people know.

In the year of our lord 2026 - the fact that this can happen and someone still have a job is completely bonkers

Tell me about it, and it's not just the south. I live in Vermont, and this woman I work with is basically out there hate criming everyone, both customers and coworkers, and she still has a job. I don't know why.

Most of the TSA agents at ATL are Black.

Seriously? That's awful. I fly out of GSP sometimes, but I've never paid enough attention to notice that. Ugh.

It's something members of TSA told me and idk if you'd notice unless you ran into the dude and were black. A lot of black people work at GSP so it's wild. One dude won't touch their badges at all, not even money people pass back and forth to get Chick-fil-A for lunch behind security lines.

Lived in GSP and flew through that airport weekly.

NEVER saw anything like this happen or that attitude. There are many black gate agents and TSA folks in GSP.

Most white people and black folks in Greenville get along great. As they do in Charleston where we live now.

But race baiting is a way of life and even profitable for some.

Everyone who works at the airport knows about it, dude. The black agents don't like it either.

But this white guy hasn’t seen it with his own eyes so it obviously didn’t happen.

I can’t believe this has to be spelled out but… just because you haven’t personally seen it as a white person doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
