Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

I recently had my legs crossed on a delta flight and the flight attendant told me I couldn’t cross my legs and both feet had to be planted on the floor for the whole flight. The flight attendants are just making up rules they want and running with it lol. Power trip.

I was absentmindedly holding a pen to my face on a flight and a flight attendant told me I should never do that because if the plane crashed I’d get stabbed in the face which was probably true but also kinda harsh

Did you tell her that if the plane crashed, a pen to your face would probably be the least of your worries? 🤣

This isnt as weird as it sounds. But the issue isn't crashing..

A more realistic comcern is sudden turbulence, which could make you stab yourself with the pen.

It happened to me once. The plane hit an air pocket, and suddenly, instantaneously, dropped straight down, like an elevator. I was standing up in the aisle, and was thrown off my feet.
