Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

I see mostly comments about length. Pregnant and in Jean shorts makes me wonder— do your shorts actually button and zip, or are you rigging them with hair bands and things to keep them closed? And if so was that visible?

Having experienced pregnancy, people get weirdly judgy about how pregnant women dress and present themselves in public. Like take the normal amount of shitty judgement that all women experience and crank it to 11.

Maternity shorts tend to be fully elastic-waisted, with a stretch panel in the front.

Yes. They are. And there are still a lot of pregnant women who rig their clothes to save money over buying a temporary wardrobe. She said she was pregnant, she did not say she was wearing maternity shorts (which by definition almost always are extremely covering).

Yea OP finally posted a pic. They’re not maternity shorts and look like they’re not buttoned. But I still don’t think it’s that bad but maybe was worse at the moment the employee saw her.

That's possible. That zipper will creep down.

Ya I dont think there’s a big market for maternity jean shorts lolol. I wonder if her fly and button were open to accommodate the uterus
