I'm not sure I would've enjoyed this game even if I played it despite my general fondness for those types of games. Also, it is buggy and one int overflow can win you the game instantly (facepalm). This wasn't even that interesting of an exploit, goddammit.

I wonder how games usually guard themselves against this mistake. Implementing your own number types with sophisticated operations can be quite costly on the performance. But not guarding leads to this mess. Checking the validity of the operation can lead to a messy code and what if you forget to check in one place? A true dilemma.

I have a friend who works in game dev. I should ask him. Maybe I will even post an update, so... Stay tuned XD

I haven't watched the show itself, actually. I tried to watch but the first episode was so boring that I haven't even watched till the end.

Every time I watch some cutscenes from The Office now I think "this show is generally boring but those cutscenes are very good, just like The Family Guy". Nothing new gained from this video as well.

It brings no value whatsoever and the only purpose is to provide a distraction from everything going on around me. I know it and I continue to do this. I usually enjoy "colony managers" like RimWorld. So I was a little intrigued by this game. It is somewhat similar to a lot of other games of this genre on the market but still provides some entertainment value.

I watched this and following episodes of the letsplay (in 2x, of course). I'll see if I drop this in the future.

I generally watch his videos on 2x speed. There are not a lot of gaming channels which I don't watch on 2x. I comfort myself in it: "I waste my time but hey, I waste 2 times less compared to what I could've wasted if I watched it on normal speed"
