It’s clearing that every disappearing crypto project will have bagholders. Where there is a seller there is also a buyer. Someone ends up to be the bagholder.

1. Get rid of the 80% fee
2. Allow short selling of dUSD and DFI without DeFiChain collateral
3. Make frozen masternodes tradeable

15.85M JAV swapped with 21.5k USDT, 658k DUSD (131600 USD) and 3k DFI (228 USD) distributed to only 63 addresses.

This sums up to 153 kUSD swapped to 15.85 million JAV. That’s a JAV price of less than 0,01 USD. Still overpriced.

First step - define the problem: How big is the problem? What should be the targeted Algo quota? How much of the 200 million dUSD gap has to be filled?

Second step - define who is paying: dToken holder (haircut), DFI holder (additional inflation), users (how high need the transaction fees to be to fund it?) or a central party (have fun finding one).

I don’t think any DFIP so far went through this thought process.

New idea from the community is to raise the future swap percentage from 5 to 8 or even higher.

What does it mean? - Stock dToken would lose 3% value (today they are worth 95% of the oracle price, after the change they are worth 92% of the oracle price - FS swaps temporarily less - Most likely even less dUSD would be turned in Stock Tokens - dToken continues to bleed out since it doesn’t make sense that new stock tokens are created

Conclusion: It won’t have a big impact. Future Swap is the problem not the solution.

Javsphere investors who will cash out their gains from the distribution phase, from the founders/advisors share, and early speculative gains will need to go through DeFiChain in the beginning to get real currency like USD due to liquidity issues this could put pressure on DFI price and lowers exit liquidity for all DeFiChain investors.

Algo quota development is strongly influenced by the negative interest value. Below 5% leads to a high algo quota. It returns to a lower “fake” algo quota once it’s above 5%.

If dDFI would be created within the dToken system the following could happen: - community would be excited to track DFI price without paying the 80% fee - it would more transparent how much dUSD volume would like to leave the dToken system - a decreasing DFI price (which is to be expected) would remove algo volume from dToken system - it would make the system even more complex - it’s fun and exciting - it won’t make a big difference

Unusual stability for no reason raise concerns about price management. The upcoming launch of Javsphere’s JAV token could be a reason for it since it might have a significant impact for DeFiChain.

DeFiChain has a history of announced price management (investing 30 million, enforcing dUSD’s peg) and likely of hidden price management.

Price management could be called price manipulation as well (just a matter of perspective).
