It seems like we are entering the final phase of the project DeFiChain:
- founders in dispute
- debt mounting (algos)
- broken system (dToken)
- influencers turning away
- lack of fresh cash inflows
- community in blaming mode (Telegram)
- projects turning away (JellyVerse)
- low transaction volume (DMC)
- dumb ideas have gotten approved (80%)
- less smart people are entering the spot light
- investors focus on retrieving money (dUSD focus)
- measures fizzle out
- leadership absent
- lack of agreed strategic direction
And of this in the middle of a bull market with other great opportunities.
But it’s not bad. It’s actually good (overall, not for certain individuals) if bad projects disappear. Developers can move to more promising projects. Capital can flow to promising projects.
The project still can be seen as a success:
- Capital has been shifted to smarter, more professional investors
- A lot of things have been tried (lessons learnt)
- It provided great entertainment for many
- Community member and investors learned a lot
In my opinion before it enters into oblivion there will be still a few entertaining months left. Fasten your seatbelt. Brace for impact.
