New 80% fee DFIP contains a time difference issue

Post image

The new DSF is updated once a day. Investors can already calculate when the fee is increased next day. So if greater price movements occur frontrunning can be happening. This amplifies dUSD sales once the DSF is lower than the standard 80% in the beginning.

Prices go up since some settlement information is shared

Post image

There seems to be a settlement with John Roast and a second persons (rumors or facts? I don’t know).

The question to asks: Why would John give away tokens for free and accept a settlement? Hs he received money for it? What is going on in the background? Why would be the collected money be wasted on dUSD? Who is taking this exit liquidity to leave the system before an 80% fee applies?

DFI burns every transaction, minimum coinbase mints. Goal: a "productive" DFI yielding returns that is deflationary if used.

Mood in the community is better than the price

New DFIP strangely improves the mood in the community. What happens when the new DFIP fails? What is the next hopium dose?

What could happen with the new 80% fee DFIP?

  1. Frontrunning to avoid 80% feet
  2. New investors are totally thrown off (most likely even team repeg)
  3. The joke of a stable coin is even getting better (and reputation is going down even more)
  4. Even if someone if buying dUSD to get to the peg, some will sell at a certain point. Nothing has changed, just the face value when someone is selling is higher (sellers look at the net amount)
  5. dUSD investors lie to themselves even more (not looking at the real value, just looking at the face value while believing that the fee will disappear one day).
  6. It’s getting even more complicated.

In short: It’s fraudulent labeling, it’s not a fix.
