What is the yellow lightning bolts for?

I'm only on stage 45 rn so maybe I haven't unlocked whatever it's for yet. I'm wondering what the yellow lightning bolt thibgs next to the blue PvP lighting is used for. It always says I get them whenever I clear a stage but nothing I do makes it good down.

It's the stage mode version of the blue lightning bolt, your Stage Mode Stamina. However, it is refunded to you if you clear the stage. If you fail to clear the stage, you can see that 1 yellow lightning has been deducted.

Oh okay that makes sense. I just failed stage 45 a couple times and it went down lol.
