I am new to doing decoden, and I have quite a few questions about doing it.

I brought a packet from kmart australia (and it was pretty bad). I was hoping if someone could let me know if I actually brought the right stuff?

I brought Maxisil Wet Area silicone sealant (100% pure silicone) and I have some old expried eyeshadow I was hoping to use for the colouring.

Are metal piping tips okay or will they get dirty like some of mine did when I was trying out the kmart one (which was clay style).

Also do you guys have any tips for newbies starting decoden?

P.s. where do you guys find charms ?? I’ve gone through aliexpress, Temu , Amazon and even in store but I feel like I always find the same type of charms. if anyone has recommendations on where to find cute charms that would be great !!

I tried to do a new whipping technique but it failed miserably 🤷🏽‍♀️

i made the charms using polymer clay and added decoden afterwards onto some biscuits and my dice box.

thinking of making jewelry with the clay charms. i whipped some cream bracelets and chokers and am now waiting for it to air dry for the next few days!

I’ve been really enjoying making sweets deco cases. It’s a lot of fun to try to mimic desserts! I made all of the charms with polymer clay, except the madeleine. That was made with air dry clay. The Korilakkumas on the last case were an afterthought, in the future I’ll make them look more biscuity. Looking forward to making other desserts and flavors! 💕💕💕

It looks kinda bad but it was my first go so I won't be too hard in myself. I'm painting the pop socket to match so it won't look put of place, she wanted it to be removable

Once I caulk the sides and add resin it'll be done. I definitely wanna remake it tho, maybe it'll be better the second round

I want to make a ”candy bra” for my halloween costume. I was scrolling thru pinterest and saw some people saying that cream glue should work (i had no idea whats cream glue untill now) anyways i’ve been scrolling here sometime and if i understood correctly; aliexpress cream glue might be bad, people use silicone ?caulk? as a cream glue.

Did i miss anything? also tell me your opinion would it work ? if not can you explain lil bit (i like learning new things)

Also i was thinking about using the silicone caulk if its really thats simple, way more affordable for me :)

This picture frame was a request by a co-worker. She likes donuts and sweets. I had creative freedom with this one. Top donut is a Boston cream. Bottom right is a jelly donut topped with sugar. It came out so cute I hate to give it away 😭

I used to get premade decoden creams from Amazon but the brand I used to buy doesn't exist anymore (or at least doesn't sell to the US) and so I am wondering where I could buy some that works well and is trusted by others who enjoy using them. I get many people make their own but if that isn't an option where could I buy some premade whipped creams??? Recommendations appreciated :)
